    Did normal mode fight with NIN NIN THF SMN BRD WHM.

    http://i60.tinypic.com/dxb4mu.jpg

    Tenzen used Amatsu: Shirahadori, Amatsu: Kazakiri, Amatsu: Kagamikaeshi... I don't know what they do but Kagamikaeshi hit THF for 1485.

    Cherukiki casts Paralyga, Shell IV, Protect IV, Banishga III, Cure IV, Cure V, and Haste. Beneficial effects on Tenzen of course.

    Kukki-Chebukki randomly casts throughout the fight Aspir, Drown, Waterga III, Sleepga, Dispelga, Bindga, Blizzard V, Sleepga, and Aero V.

    As WHM, at some points during the fight Tenzen randomly sniped me with ranged attacks for 200-400 dmg multiple times in a row. Makki-Chebukki will occasionally ranged attack someone also.

    Amatsu: Kamikaeshi is new... Does he still use cosmic or was that replaced? Seems like it would be kind of cheap, but I wouldn't put it past SE.

    Kamikaeshi is probably a Fudo or Shoha rename, knowing SE.

    Just beat VD as NIN NIN WHM BRD BRD PLD. It was pretty easy until ~25%, then the tarus began to regularly use meteor combined with cosmic and some other AOE after meikyo. Overall wasn't terribly difficult. Got Ginsen as our only drop.

    Correct, it's just damage now. He has another SC called Universal Enlightenment that is AOE, Was doing around 600-1000 with I think MDT on. He will use this even if his WS miss or get absorbed by shadows.

    Were you getting the -50% DT after it used a rice ball? Or is this SE saying FU to RNG method again like Yorcia delve.

    This is probably one of the easiest VD fights of all the BCNMs. Pull Tenzen at the end of Nitro buffing -> Horde Lullaby the three Taru with Nitro up -> proceed to destroy Tenzen.

    Have the DDs use 2hrs early in the fight and then have the Cor WC with the Brd in range to restore Nitro. When the Tarus wake up, just resleep them with Nitro Horde. Tenzen should be dead long before the second Nitro Horde wears, which makes me wonder if Brd/blm would work as to not require WC (or maybe if you need another Horde after the second Nitro). Healing was not very intensive in the fight.

    As for Lullabying the Tarus without Nitro, Cheru seemed to hardly resist Lullaby at all. I also noticed that Cheru seemed immune to dmg, I'm not sure if DoTs can dmg her though (I tried to resleep at the end of second Nitro timer by waking them with Banishga II but couldn't dmg her, our Whm couldn't dmg her either when he tried to Holy her at the end of one of our fights). The middle Taru seemed mildly resistant to Lullaby. The Taru on the opposite side of Cheru was incredibly resistant to Lullaby though.

    DDs go /nin, we used Mnk/ninx2 + Pld on our first normal/VD but then switched the Pld to Thf/nin on our second VD. No losses! Rly though, it's a super easy fight as long as the Taru are kept asleep.

    As for drops, we've seen the Gaiters, sam/rng Bow, and Stp Ammo piece so far.

    Heh, didn't even consider sleeping the taru. That certainly makes this pretty trivial.

    Approx HP of Tenzen? Viability of DD /NIN compared to NIN main?
    If this is just a Zerg could go in with a SCH instead of WHM for several buffs (and Embrava of course)

    2x DD/NIN
    1x THF/NIN
    1x Healer (SCH?)
    1x BRD
    1x BRD or COR

    How big was Tenzen's eva compared to VD AAs? Lower than AA MR I expect. Something like AA GK probably?
    Any dangerous AoE move with big range that can hit the backline jobs? (aside from the tarus of course)
    Average lasting time of the fight from the second you engage?

    Absolute joke on VD, its basically AA GK but even more faceroll easy. No AoE and all its single target WS don't 1 shot you, EA from Smn is in no way needed to be perfectly safe (didn't use Scherzo either and never saw a WS go above 1.7k in acc gear).

    Never saw any AoE skillchain damage, I think across all 3 DDs we ate a grand total of 2 weaponskills with 2 people 2-3 boxing and 1 person single boxing. Fight duration was 5m~ (7m20ish total with buffing), had noticeably more DT at the end than at start, may have happened when it ate rice ball but it seemed to ramp up further as it got closer to 0.

    On Normal with pick ups one of our melees didn't notice Tenzen used Yaegasumi and continued to ws through it- he proceeded to get 1 shot by a 3k WS.

    I did difficult, was good until 23% then mnk got one shorted for 3700 ws. I noticed tenzen on normal had pretty ridiculous evasion for a 119 fight. With a 119 relic drg with a bunch of xaddi rank 15 pieces, SV madrigal and Hunter's Roll (no sushi though) I completely missed Stardiver entirely like 4 times throughout the fight. Either he has some ridiculous parrying rate or some native random auto evasion third-eye like property. Shouldn't have been missing a 4hit ws entirely several times in Normal with the buffs i had. Maybe it's an effect of his rice ball or something, or has insane parrying rate from the front. Universal Enlightenment goes off before he dies and even if at 1% he will stay alive until he gets off that final skillchain which on normal did 1206 exactly to everyone in range. After he gets off the final sc, he has a few more seconds of bottomless hp before he can be dropped(we unloaded like 6-7 ws on him during meikyo and at least 3 more within 5 seconds of him finishing the sc and still didn't die, which was annoying)

    His awesome WS evasion is SAM's SP2. Watch the log for it and stop using WSs during it (which power up his TP moves and one-shot your monks). He also gains a lot of evasion and defense when he eats a rice ball, and the WHM taru sometimes buffs him if you aren't quick to re-sleep.

    This is the easiest of all VD fights. Here's the strategy:
    * 3x DD/NIN
    * COR/WHM
    * BRD/WHM
    * WHM/whatever

    Bard gives SV Scherzo, Mad x2, Min, March. COR gives Chaos/Hunter's. Melees keep shadows up. WHM keeps people alive. Everyone with blink/stoneskin tries to keep it up to avoid Tenzen's random /RAs. Bard keeps the tarus slept with Troub Horde Lullaby II, and COR keeps Troub up with a combination of Random Deal, Wild Card, and Cutting Cards. Could have your WHM sub BLM for a backup ES Sleepga if you were desperate.

    Had a Thf the last time my group did this that tried to Larceny the SP2, however he stole Invincible and Tenzen seemingly kept his SP2. I remember something being mentioned about SP2s and Cor resetting back when they came out. Was something ever mentioned regarding Larceny getting SP2s?
