Loyalty Rewards have been re-enabled for Borderlands: The Handsome Collection users on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One! As a reward for playing either Borderlands 2 and/or Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on previous-gen consoles, players will receive the following bonuses upon signing into SHiFT in The Handsome Collection:

And as an additional bonus, we’ve temporarily increased the drop rate on legendary loot in Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel across all platforms! Note: Loyalty rewards in Borderlands: The Handsome Collection can only be unlocked within the same console family on which you originally played Borderlands 2 or Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

To clarify, in order to earn the rewards on PlayStation 4, you need to have played on PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita. To earn the rewards on Xbox One, you need to have played on the Xbox 360.

I used that code for 25 keys for presequel, and it went through, and they never loaded on my character.....

like the shift machine in Concordia doesn't have them? (they do it differently in TPS for some reason)

Yes. I went to use the gold key chest and it says 0 keys

right, you have to go to the Shift machine in concordia first and physically claim the keys there, then go to the chest, keys don't just get added to your inventory in TPS (the way you're responding sounds like you don't know this, if you do and they just aren't in the machine then idfk)

i assume they made the change so you can pick up the weapons and gear at the desired level instead of whichever character logs in first, but having to claim the keys doesn't make sense, they don't take up inventory space so it seems pointless to have to manually take them

Could be a way to prevent duping/unlimited key tricks.

Damn shame.
Played the fuck outta Borderlands 2 on PC(Pre-Sequel was unplayable on splitscreen PS3), and was hoping for this to be a good couch co-op game for when friends come over.
Wanted to get back into TPS now due to having all the DLC, but it just pales in comparison IMO.
Also, with 3-player co-op on TPS we get real bad input lag with the controllers making it unplayable with more than two players. Anyone else have this problem? BL2 runs and plays just fine.
Kinda bummed I more than likely won't play through TPS with friends.

i absolutely hate the level design in the pre-sequel, the moons surface is a bitch to drive a vehicle on.

The 2 things Ive come across that are annoying are that, and the quests seem to keep have you going point a, to point b, to point c, to point d (which is back near point a), to point e, to point f, to g, etc

Playing 3 player on the Xbox One, I haven't noticed an input lag issue.

So, can anyone confirm if the DLCs helped the game? I was one of the "not much has changed since BL2" people and didn't bother doing raiding.

I mean if you're expecting for the DLCs to have changed how the game plays/works different from BL2 then no. It's a good game if you like BL, and they've made bosses farmable finally making it actually playable. If you're one of the people who don't like BL and want the series to change or whatever, then TPS isn't for you.

K, well, I need to vent a second.

the final boss in the Claptastic Voyage can eat a giant floppy kangaroo dick. I can't even beat his first form(the Robot)... Let alone EOS. I've gone broke trying to kill him. I just want to beat him on Normal to finish the story, SHIT. The little buzzers flying around widdling you away, half his attacks (or all of them) pretty much being a 1-hit KO... Its probably the least fun I've ever had in a Borderlands game. No other boss has giving me this level of frustration. Its been a long time since i felt such frustration in a game to the point its made me not want to play anymore.

Venting over... guess I'll see if I can find a game online and hope 4 people have better luck than me solo.

yeah idk what they were thinking with the balance there, I've fought easier and less obnoxious raid bosses
2nd form is even worse, huge ass shield, take it down, take off 25% health, he regens shield to full, repeat to 50%, regen shields, take down shields a third time, then finish him off

Athena wrecked him. I used electric laser and jumped like an idiot for her smite. I played on PS3, so I can help on that platform. I will probably pick up PS4 sometime, but not sure when.

I abused dashboarding to grind a Dastardly Maggie with the shield penetration luneshine bonus and am able to solo him on my Nisha, but it's not fun, and it takes SO MANY BULLETS
