I actually hadn’t read Strange Dogs- none of the novellas. Reading the synopsis, that certainly would be a weird place to leave off. A great prologue of the series ever continues though.

read the actor made the decision to come in underweight (lost about 30 lbs) and gaunt to represent the stress of running combat sorties constantly. if i recall correctly in the interview he said he got the idea from World War 2 fighter pilots that got progressively worn down.

On Amazon streaming, when you pause it typically it gives you info on what characters are on the screen at the moment, like links to their bios. It’s a nice feature. But with these things they’re trying, there’s “bonus content” hidden in them.

Looks like cameos, such as Pastor Anna & Praxideke Meng, were meant to be fleshed out, but to keep the season condensed, their stories were cut. The reason the season was six episodes was because Amazon Studios negotiated down to where the minimum amount of episodes that could be made to tell the story of the final season. The show's producers said there was 10 episodes of content, but 6 was all that was needed to tell the main storyline.
