Questions about Coeus (SCH weapon).
Does Regen duration +12 mean +12 seconds? or 12%?
Is this bonus applied BEFORE perpetuance or after?
If it's after it's a pretty meh-ish 12 seconds, but if it's before it's ~30seconds and it's pretty nice I'd dare to say, would help managing stratagems when giving multiple buffs to your PT and would be a valid situational alternative to Wopket's Club.
Bit OT but since we're here, same question about the Job Points, if anybody (I doubt lol) dared to spend JPs on SCH for the Regen duration (current cap is +10 seconds/% I think?)
According to SE recent "Regen+" numbers are percentages (they mentioned this when Piety Briault+1 and Bolelabunga were added), and I'm no mathologist but I don't think it matters if it's applied before or after.
Yes for "potency" it's a %, but for duration somehow it makes more sense to me that it's just straight seconds
I suck at math, but if they're added BEFORE perpetuance those +12 seconds (let's suppose it's seconds and not%) would get multipled by Perpetuance and become +30 seconds. If it's the other way around it would remain +12 wether or not you use Perpetuance.and I'm no mathologist but I don't think it matters if it's applied before or after.
It's another story if it's a % of course.
Base bonus expected results:
1) Fixed: 120 seconds (108+12)
2) %: 115 seconds (60+12%(60) + 48)
3) %: ~120 (60+48 + 12%(108))
Would be hard to see if it's fixed or % between 1 and 3, but with this simple test we can at least learn about 2)
Expected results for Perpetuance instead, assuming +2 gloves and +12 seconds bonus:
1) 282 seconds (+12 after Perpetuance)
2) 300 seconds (+12 before Perpetuance)
If anybody has time to perform this simple test and share it with us it would be awesome.
Spend 3 JP on Regen duration so far. It is applied before Perpetuance. It's a very nice category and I underrated the SCH JSE. Wopkets Club seems to apply to the base Regen tick of 40 on Regen V and not include Light Arts and Empy hat bonus.
The Regen duration gives your Strategems time to refill when you are doing AOE Regen V and Phalanx on your PT. Would Jobpoint up again.
@Lyramion
So it's before Perp and it's fixed seconds, not %.
So basically we go from 270 seconds to 325.
Will get even more once they uncap JP (max of 30?), up to 375.
And if you wanna be cheap, Coeus is also a decent alternative to Twebulij, Lehbrailg+2, Ngqoqwanb and Venabulum.
Inferior of course, but useable.
(for low tier spells, it might actually be situationally slightly better than all but Venabulum)
So how much does the Wopket club add to regen 5? I assume it's 4 since that's 10% of 40?
Regen V numbers:
Base = 40
Light Arts (+24 at Level 99) = 64
Empy hat (+5 to Regen V) + Light Arts = 69
Bunga (10% of 40) + Empy hat + Light Arts = 73
So ya it's nice but nothing game breaking.
It's +4 for real then, 10% of the base 40.
Again, I might be biased but I'd rather have the 12x2.5 seconds of additional duration.
Not biased at all, JSE looking pretty good. Also very good to combo with Tabula Rasa to keep the enhanced Regen ticking even longer.
I did some testing and my Lehbrailg +2 with MAB +25 augment does more damage for tier 1 nukes than both Venabelum and Coeus
Spreadsheet-wise yes, I got the same results as you.
Expected result for fixed duration bonus was 300 seconds.Originally Posted by Marila
Since it's ~338 this should mean it's % based just like Fwahm said.
Altough I can't understand how she got that number, maybe she got some Job Point or something...
Got me a Coeus myself in the end, tested RegenV with Perpetuance, lasting time is increased by ~30 seconds.
Corresponds to the +12 seconds x2.5 expected.
Is there a test I can do to check if the +12 is a % or a static value in seconds?
Regen V not particularly effective for such a test since 12% of 108 = 12 (rounded down), so I wouldn't be able to tell the difference under these circumstances.
cast Regen w/o any buff/gear It should last 75 secs... then equip the staff.. and check how much it last...
if last 9 secs more (84 in total) then its 12% more, if last 87 just 12 secs more...
NOTE: w/ REGEN 1... since wiki/bg says it last 75... but guess w/ Regen 2+ can be easier since they only last 60 secs... so it can last 67 or 72
Tested with Regen V, I counted ~13 seconds more, which probably are just 12 and that means static lasting time?
~1 second of error is acceptable, but I would have noticed 5 seconds difference...
Can anybody else double check this?
