I think it was more of a play on "The Dirty Dozen", which, if you've never seen that movie, go see it. It's a classic.

So Strucker is dead and Nick Fury is no longer playing dead. I guess the show is going to take a new direction again soon?

Ever since 'Real' shield made its appearance i've been half expecting Fury to show up and bitch slap Gonzales down so it wouldn't surprise me now if he does actually do that either next episode or in the finale.

Also with Strucker being dead doesn't that effectivly mean that Hydra is done (for)now? since seem to recall that him and um...other dude this episode were the last 2 top honchos left. I know that they'll end up making a reappeance at somepoint it does seem to me that they've been taken out of play for the next 1-2 seasons.
