If they kill Fitz or Simmons I think it will be the first time ever I would actually rage at a TV show for killing off some character, lol.

Are you not familiar with Joss Whedon's style of making something fucking awful happen as soon as characters are happy together? They seem to be sticking pretty heavily to that philosophy, especially this season.

I'm just hoping that killing off Ros satiated Whedon's need for ruining potential relationships. At least get Fitz/Simmons some time in the sack before sacking them!

Thinking more about it I'm convinced that the only people in jeopardy are Ward, Coulson, and May; in that order. What scares me, of course, is that Whedon couldn't give two shits about what makes sense and rather likes to surprise us with tragedy. But seriously, I might stop watching without the Fitz/Simmons duo, it really helps differentiate it from just a typical superhero show. So... hopefully they're not tweeting their goodbyes tonight.

People keep saying that Joss Whedon will ensure that Fitz or Simmons dies. However Joss hasn't written or directed an episode since the Pilot. I get that he created the show but you'd think that he'd write/direct some more if he cared at all about what was going on.

It even says that Joss isn't a showrunner. Jed Whedon, Tancharoen, and Jeffrey Bell are the showrunners.

Ward is off the list of people being sacked 100% and pretty confident Coulson is the red herring since it's almost too easy to see him dieing. Thus it only leaves one person left on the Dark Planet Side. But for all we know somebody can die during the invasion of the Hydra base

Why are you so sure about Ward being safe?

He's probably the weakest character plot-wise and with the introduction of a new enemy his role is even more diminished. It's almost ridiculous if he stays around for the second half of the season, even more ridiculous if he's not gone by the end of season 3.

Felt like kind of a mediocre end to what's been a great half-season, in my opinion.

It basically puts things right back to where we were at the start of the season, sans the Simmons situation. I kind of hope Ward's personality doesn't change much, it's been a long time since a villain's death actually made me a little sad.
