    I wonder what it is this year that more games have teams unable to close out 1-goal games in regulation than ones who are, it seems like being down 1 with 2 minutes left means you're definitely going to overtime

    Leafs haven't won since my dad's side of the family immigrated to Canada from Ireland over 40 years ago. They last won it the year before my Grampa got here, and he passed away without ever seeing them win (last June, but he got to see them blow Game 7 against Boston...). Talk to me about Cup droughts.
