Give it a few days, then you can't even say that much Callisto.
Honestly I don't know why I get my hopes up every postseason.

LEGIT TEARS IN MY EYES

I can understand getting your hopes up playing the Blue Jackets. You would already be out of the playoffs if you got matched up against the Flyers.
No doubt. I was super glad we didn't draw them in the first round.
"I have an example that says this doesn't always happen, therefore it never happens." You think that matters? What...80%+ of the league is Canadian but 3/4 of the teams are American. You think it bothers Boston fans that they only have six team members that are American? (Up from last year!)
The point is that the author points to a significant amount of anecdotal evidence that states that the Habs get a benefit from refereeing. I did a quick swing through Google ("montreal referees bias -maclean") and the results seem to match up against that perception.
Why, there's even an academic journal publication about it, lol - http://www.palgrave-journals.com/eej...ej201341a.htmlI'm not saying it is there or it isn't.Motivated by an endogenity issue between score margin and penalty events, this paper tests for ethnicity discrimination among NHL referees by analyzing over 2.6 million player shifts. Using duration models to compare the penalty rates of various player–referee ethnicity combinations, we find that French Canadian referees call penalties at significantly faster rates on English Canadian players than do English Canadian referees. The results are broadly consistent with the prior discrimination literature and are intuitively reasonable within the context of the historic French–English tensions throughout Canada’s history.
But to claim that there's a bias *against* the Habs is just downright laughable.
Do you see the stats, or just the conclusion?
I want to purchase this article
Price: US$30
Because fkn LOL
show me the numbers that state that habs get preferential treatment from french canadian refs, instead of "this article said so" without proof. I'd like to know how they know that french canadian refs call penalties, because as far as I know, nowhere is it listed WHICH ref calls which penalty.
Retard fighttttttt!
I dont even know what he's going on about now, he should focus on cheering for his local hockey team!!

I don't want to say that this is a setback for female sports reports, but it's pretty brutal...
I heard that last night and my instant reaction was "I hope she's just trying to make a joke" because yea...
re: interview
I mean, the female reporter at the Australian Open asked Genie Bouchard who she'd go on a date with if she could choose anyone, which I thought was wildy inappropriate. I think it was a "fan" question but I'm sure they had dozens they could have asked instead of that one.
