AC5 is literally the only one I've played and I 'just' played it recently! That was possibly one of the best end sequences I could have asked for.
I really liked it so I'll probably play more.

I've been told that I started with literally the best Ace Combat game and so its all downhill from here but even if that's true, it'd have to go pretty fucking far downhill for me to not enjoy other games in the series.

Pretty much. I would also recommend 0 since it's good (and is related to 5) but very short. 4 is overall decent but never reaches 5 in terms of being amazing. 6 is meh, Assault Horizon depends on whether you like dogfight mode or not. Either way, Ace Combat music is good.

Another personal fav from AC5.

Good shit, though that almost goes without saying. I feel like I could just post the whole game's soundtrack.
Really surprised at the quality of everything in the game. Especially the story... I feel like RPG-fags who act like story trumps all need to give this a shot.

Yeah, AC games have surprisingly good stories that really get you into everything that's happening in the level. 5 was definitely the high point of that, after that I'd say it was 0 > 4, then they're all pretty much the same after that though I don't really remember AC1-3.

Though maybe I'm just rating AC games based on how good the final music is because there's definitely a link.
