Back in '93 this was epic shit. I remember doing what the guy in the vid did too to check out the song. I remember getting all misty eyed during the ending. Fuckin Windfish and that nigga owl... why did I trust them!
I've played through Link's Awakening more times than is probably healthy. Too many car trips. Did a zero damage play through once. Annoying but amazingly satisfying.
Too many good songs in that game too.
It as the fist game I played claw style. My index finger curled and always on A to keep my shield up forever. My thumb for operating B.
Yeah, uh... I just repositioned my hand to hit both buttons with my thumb at once.
Now coming to PS3/4/Vita. I enjoyed the piss out of this fucking game.
I always think of Rogue Galaxy when I see the name Rogue Legacy.
Also, can't believe I haven't done this yet. Not really a video game music thread by me if I don't post these.
I'm pretty sure that Open Door is my favorite 'end game' dungeon theme out there for no particular reason at all. I would run around just battling things and getting lost in that tune on every playthrough (I played through that game entirely too many times, 5 at a bare minimum... but I auto pilot through that game sometimes and I'm pretty sure its actually been far more than 5 times)
Def never played whatever game that music you posted is from.
PSP RPG, I ended up picking it up because of how hilariously bad I thought the name sounded and some of the funny screenshots I saw.
I went in expecting a 'so bad its good' kinda thing and got my legitimate favorite turn-based RPG in recent times. Go figure.
EDIT: Also, this chick is legitimately one of the funniest JRPG characters ever created.
