Well, being a shitty Egi was an underwhelming first appearance.

I was kind of hoping that the eleven Lucavi/Scions of Dark from Ivalice would appear for reals, in addition to Zodiark. But you're right, their appearances will probably happen eventually.

from what I understand in the lore thread we have, Gaius was 'tempered' by Bahamut not Shiva. I may be wrong though or have Gaius and Nael mixed up.

Gaius wasn't tempered by anyone, Garuda was referring the player and Hydaelyn.

What Niiro says is right. Gaius was never tempered by anyone. Nael van Darnus was tempered by Bahamut after Castrum Novum in 1.0.

As I recall, the main scenario has never mentioned Shiva ever and that being so, Garuda has definitely never said anything about her.

I almsot miss fating to 50... if DF'ing dungeons to lv50 is considered flying to 50, fates back in the day were probably considered light speed travel >.>

Lv 1-> 50 in 3 days average (with no gear on cept a weapon)

lul XD I bet FATE'ing will make a major resurgence with the job additions anyways.

Hopefully Yoshi-P comes through with more jobs than the 2-4 that we expect. New jobs still can derive from the current classes in place as well.

The secret to fate exp was to cross class flash.

Instant gold status on almost any fate, even if you barely got there in time. Even better was when they let you provoke fate bosses lol..

Except Overpower was superior. Gat damn crack that thing 1-4 times any fate for instant Gold.
