Feel like I'm missing something here, where's the .dll to actually load the plugin in ACT?
ACT.SpecialSpellTimer.dll:

Thanks.
Now if someone could update the old translated version Q_Q (or translate the updated version, I'd imagine that'd be harder tho).

Act suddenly stoped parsing, not sure whats causing this to happen -_-
I recall something similar to this from a long time ago. When a PC is rebooted and ACT is minimized to an icon in the icon tray, the ACT settings file gets corrupted. The solution to this was to disable minimizing ACT to an icon (options -> Miscellaneous -> uncheck "Minimize ACT to a tray icon") or just always make sure you close ACT completely before rebooting/shutting down your PC.
It's possible to fix it without reinstalling by deleting the ACT configuration file. I don't recall the exact details to trigger it, but it was something related to window mode and position - if the window mode was set to icon tray, then there were restrictions on the values for the window position.
Works fine for me, so it isn't due to a game update. Things to check:
- If parsing from network data, are you running as an admin and still have the firewall rule set?
- Did the FFXIV Plugin somehow become disabled - make sure the enabled checkbox is selected on plugins->plugin listing
- Did you explicitly pick the local IP Address, but your ip has changed?
- Are you running more than one copy of FFXIV? If so, be sure to pick the correct one from the process list on the FFXIV Settings tab.
- Does the 'Test Game Connection' on the FFXIV Settings tab indicate any error?
The only thing I've found that I don't fully understand yet - if I disable the Windows Firewall service, the plugin won't parse network data properly until the PC is rebooted. This may also occur when other software that messes with windows networking is reconfigured, so it is worth rebooting just to see if it starts working.
When looking at the damage/healing of specific skills/spells is there any way to see the non-crit min/max and crit min/max separately?
That is an effort several magnitudes greater than I would feel like doing.
I found an easier way though, when looking at a specific skill just sort all the entries by damage then crit true/false.
Gives you all the hits sorted by whether they were crits, then damage.
For Dobu:
Link to download the plugin.

Extract to ACT folder.
Some menu translation by Lokus:
Here's my setup.
Spoiler: show
Edit: Just found out Uryuu's way actually has the cooldown bars disappear from the list once they're ready so I went with that instead. http://www.bluegartr.com/threads/120...=1#post6293683
Question about act, is it possible to see a "ground effect" on the list and who it has damaged?
Like for instance, the pool created by earthshaker, and able to list who took damage from it?
Haha, we seriously need a FailBot/EnsidiaFails plugin for ACT.
I think one can make a plugin to read the name who gets hit with an ability from the battle log and make a list of a given encounter.
Can you set a default save name? Can you force the date to appear at the top of parses that were not obtained via log files?
yup, seriously need something like that, that you can link to chat. Trying to blame the healer when the blm is standing still to cast fire1's during earthshaker. "Opp blm died, must be healers fault" and he's all silent when I mention him standing still to cast that in the middle of a pool >.>
I've been using Sean's settings for a while but have noticed that there are redundancies sometimes when tracking cooldowns.
For instance, raging strikes and convert often appear twice with the same # of seconds counting down the CD. I'm not sure what causes this and I have checked through all my triggers/spell timers for redundancies but nothing has popped up.
Has anyone else encountered this? I will upload a picture when it happens again.
Does ACT.MPTimer.dll just read the log to create a timer for mana ticks or does it actively mine for info. Can I use it without SQUENIX knowing just like the ACT parser itself?
