Whenever I try to enable Rainbowmage in ACT it just explodes. It works fine by itself, and I can enable it (but not XIV parsing) in x86, but not normally.

My turret doesn't seem to pick up on my parse when I have them split.

Putting this here, what tool is putting that parser in the upper left part of the persons screen?
It's an overlay plugin.
https://github.com/RainbowMage/Overl...es/tag/0.3.3.8
There are a bunch of different HTML files here that provide the same thing but with different fonts/graphics/etc:
https://github.com/billyvg/OverlayPlugin-themes
You can kind of edit these to display the information you want in the miniparse.html file in this directory:
C:\Program Files\Advanced Combat Tracker\OverlayPlugin\resources
Would recommend using Notepad++ or something along those lines for editing.
I can't ever get rainbowmage to work and it hurts my soul
Meh, don't feel bad, I still can't even get ACT to work. My new computer really hates that program with a passion. :/ I've done everything I can think of short of uninstalling Windows Firewall and I still get Firewall and run as administrator meesages when I "Test Game Connection".
Sorry to even bother with asking something that may have been answered a long time ago. I don't think i'm using ACT to it's potential, i only just run the mini parse and go along my way. But i started reading stuff about encounter culling, and some other different configs. I wanted to know the proper universal config everyone's using to have my ACT running at it's best. That overlay also looks gorgeous. I guess the only reason i'm asking is cuz when there are fights that switch to add phases (best example t9 golems), my encounter resets cuz it's different enemies.
For specialspelltimer plugin, is there an updated xml file for tickers?
Which job are you looking for? I've been adding the new abilities as I go along. They're not too hard to set.
1) Go to Plugins > SpecialSpellTimer and click Ticker tab
2) Find an ability from a job you are adding a new ability to
3) Click Add and this will duplicate that ability
4) Rename the skill, put the appropriate timing in, and put the appropriate regex/battle log line where it says to. Click save and you're done.
The reason you select an ability from the same job you are adding a new ability to is because there is a job specific selection area. If, for instance, you want to add Ley Lines to BLM but you decide to duplicate Berserk instead, you won't see Ley Lines pop up unless you manually change the job to BLM instead of WAR.
It's fairly easy but you will have to find the specific line in the battle log to properly do this.
In regards to the overlay plugin, the biggest thing I can tell you to do is unblock your .dll files (right click > properties). This has caused many errors with many other plugins before.
Hi I was wondering if anybody had any idea about how to send ACT parses to a Google spreadsheet either automatically or by uploading the log file to a website. Thanks in advance.
So when i alt+tab at any point back into the game with rainbowmage parser overaly plugin running, the game stutters everytime i land an attack. It gets really bad during 8-mans. My only remedy so far is to switch to fullscreenc then back to borderless window immediately and it starts running perfectly again. Any way to fix this?
So I have been messing with ACT and Google Sheets and I'm working on a template where you can paste your parses onto a sheet for easy record keeping. Basically it's a preset for Export to Clipboard in ACT so you just right click the encounter and paste it to Google Docs. Right now you have to paste it into a pre-made template on the sheet, but eventually we hope to have it self pasting and coloring and everything. I'll also probably go back and change some of the DPS chart values because the healer one is newer and way better. Damage and healing are separate presets currently, but it's as easy as Right Clicking the fight you want to export and picking one preset or another.
Anyway here's a pic of the WIP with a somewhat embarrassing example parse. These were also parsed by two separate people so the healing values are slightly different. If anyone is interested in this I will post a guide to this beta version in a couple days.
Spoiler: show
Anybody uses timeline plugin? https://github.com/090/act_timeline
I translated a bunch of the timeline scripts for coil for my own use, and I've made a Ravana EX script. However, I've gotten 2 weapons and 10 tokens and unlikely to do any more Ravana any time soon and would like someone to test the script
Edit: Removed. It works![]()
Is there a way to make a trigger fire X seconds into a certain encounter, or do you have to have a plugin like act_timeline?
Strict time based triggers would only work on the first phase anyway, anything past that (phase turn at certain HP%) would make the rest unreliable.
