ACT question

I am surprised I don't see more people using the enimity plugin. It's god damn amazing and I will be a sad tank when it breaks. All DPS And healers should have it as well so they can know when they are riding the tank. The little bar on the party frames is awful for telling.

I've been trying to make rainbowmage's overlay plugin work since I formated/upgraded to W10 with no dice, right after I enable the overlayplugin.dll on the plugin tab the app stops working, I tried everything, downloaded ACT again and deleted everything including the ACT folder in User\AppData\Roaming but it still happens, does it not work under W10?

Not sure if W10 has it built in but do you have Net Framework 4.6 installed on it? Some of the plugins (not sure about rainbowmage) require it to work properly.

Apparently the backup I had was an older version that didn't work with the expac/new dx11 client, downloaded the latest one and it seems to be able to load it, but the overlay doesn't show up

And when I click on show overlay/enable clickthru it throws me a System.NullReferenceException and I can either continue or exit the app.

I run Windows 10 and can use all of the plugins mentioned in this thread without any issues.

I'm not 100% certain this will fix it for you, but make sure you have permissions on everything in your ACT folder. Whenever you download a plugin RAR, make sure you right click > properties > unblock > apply. If you don't do this on Windows 10 (and 8 I hear), by default it's going to throw a lot of errors in ACT. Personally, for files already in my ACT folder, I can just RAR/unRAR the plugin folders and it unblocks them all.

If you're already unblocking everything then I have no idea.

I already had everything in the folder unblocked so that's not it (I still tried though), the warning's still there and I'm out of ideas :<

Issue I'm having (win 10 but don't think that's why) is network parsing. I've just unable to get it to work. Despite firewall exception and running act as admin and game with/without admin, ACT saying everything checks out, overlays showing up, no errors. It just doesn't parse anything when I don't have disable network parsing checked. Correct IP is selected, too.

It sucks because I hear network is superior. Even confirmed everything running as admin with task manager column/UAC. Even have network log file FWIW.

Anyone have any suggestions?

i saw people talking about ACT not registering wildfire occasionally, i dont think it has picked up a single one of mine since i've been leveling it (59 now). is there anything i should look for in options or anything?

you have to enable network parsing for it to pick it up, which needs admin and a firewall excemption but even after that, it occasionally isn't picked up and nobody has said they are looking into it at all that i have seen

Is there any way for 2 abilities to share the same cooldown bar for SpecialSpellTimer? So that it if I use Trick Attack or Sneak Attack the same bar will start showing the cooldown.

I've never had that happen to me and one of our tanks is a PLD, so I think I would've noticed by now. Do you use network log parsing as well?

hello guys, i've been using act for a long time without issue, ever since i upgraded to windows 10 the font on the table looks weird and barely readable.
looks blocky, the space between letters is much tighter than normal, and the size is smaller too.
i cant post url link since i dont have 10 post yet, so thats as far as i can explain it
anyone have similar issue and a way to fix it?

Is there any way to change the huge font the timeline plugin uses? I'm assuming it's just the size of the English letters that comes inside the JP font it uses, but how it is now there is no way I can read any ability names outside of like the first 3-4 letters. Anyone know a workaround to this?

Is there a way to change the "YOU" display to something else, particularly via rainbowmage? I'm not horribly familiar with coding, but I learned to work with XML for ye olde spellcast. I managed to set up a basic if-else situation but I can't seem to get the rule conditions right. I want something to the effect of if ("{name}" == "YOU")
