I always show "unknown zone," how do I fix that?
I always show "unknown zone," how do I fix that?
Is there any way in ACT to attribute extra damage done via, for example, Foe's, Trick attack, Balance or MCH's dps support skills?
I'm not sure if it could do it for the attack speed buffs easily (Fey Wind and the Arrow), and you definitely can't measure utility (Spire, Ewer, Spear), but you certainly should be able to do direct buffs like Balance/Foe's/Disembowel/Trick Attack/Hypercharge/Dragon Kick (if running 2 monks) and what not.
I'm having trouble getting ACT to give me any output. It shows the zone I am in and gives me the target bar, but I get nothing in terms of an actual parse. I have a battle box set up with everything checked. What am I missing?
Did you start ACT while in an instance? Whenever I do that, occasionally ACT won't parse anything but I'll get everything else working. It's only after I exit the instance and reenter that it starts working again.
This happens to me sometimes as well, or similarly it will parse everyone but fail to register players as party members and do some other wonky shit.
No amount of closing and reopening ACT seems to help...
Disable the FFXIV plugin and re-enable it. Works every time.
Nope, I haven't been able to get it to work yet. I is perplexed.
Try disabling your firewall and see if it works, if it does add an exception. If you don't wanna do that, disable network parsing.
Blocked network parsing would cause that, showing the zone name but no data.
I believe certain abilities aren't parsed properly or can occasionally be missed completely.
I don't think it can read DoT data at all without it.
It attempts to parse and does a good job, it is just less accurate.
A firewall exception(and maybe run as admin too?) isn't too hard to setup now that you know the cause.
So any idea if the Nisi triggers are done by ACT?

This question is more in regards to FFLogs. Whenever I upload a parse it sometimes has troubles finding that battle/zone, and more often than not itll list each encounter as 1-2min fights when in reality they were 6-10minute fights. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Know of any fixes?
I had the same problem with logs from final coil but not with any savage logs so far. Try contacting the guy who runs the site and send him the logs that are causing it.
So it might actually be ACT. When I pull up the logs in ACT under history, they also come up as short 1-3minute fights. Any ideas?
