If you get past age 21 and you still don't have an established group of close friends, are you kind of screwed (as far as making friends goes)? I was thinking that by that age, most people usually have a close group of friends who they've been friends with for a long time. It's harder to make friends with people who already have an established group of friends, because there isn't much incentive for them to accept another friend into their group. I just think that if you get out of college or university and still don't have any good friends, it's really difficult to make them. I'm 24 now. I haven't completely given up, though I am starting to worry. Am I being too negative or what?
