Who gives a shit lol. She's obviously in possession of it for the movie.

I think the fact she has one isn't an issue. If the show never gave it much thought, I won't either.
Why would you give it much thought in a Power Rangers movie in the first place? lol
The morph sequence better be epic
Spoilers : It won't
If you want face shots of them shouting the relevant dinosaur, you're gonna be disappointed lol. We already have "It's Morphin' Time!", I'd settle for cool action poses before the transformation.
The morphers look something out of Kamen Rider. As for Rita, I recall seeing somewhere that she's a fallen ranger. Watch there be a heel-face-turn of sorts (like the show has done on several occasions) with Zedd showing up near the end. If not here, then maybe in a potential sequel. At least they aren't using any Sentai assets, like in the shows.
I'm expecting the Megazord transformation to be where they put their efforts. The ultimate showdown, and they have to make it not transformery? Make or break imo.
each trailer makes me cringe![]()
they should have the 2 girls do a sailormoon transformation
Oh my god that Alpha 5 keeps getting worse...
Blasphemy. This is looking better and better.
Like many reboots or drudged up corpses of children's shows, they take this shit far too seriously for what it is. It's a movie of a campy ass TV show for kids from the like 90s, and they always try to retcon or super srs the backstory/characters/everything for them and it just ends up looking silly. I'm pretty sure they went to a rainforest in one of the movies and got a frog megazord. This is the kind of silly you expect from PW.
I don't think these movies meet with a lot of success because they try to hard to be marvel or the next big endless movie cycle thing instead of making a good standalone movie. You'll bet there will be a sequel teaser in this movie that has like a 90% chance of never seeing the light of day cause this is going to bomb.
Anyway, much like every other reboot failure, sure give it a shot but brace for disappointment.
But so far for me, everything about the trailers feels like they're trying a marvel approach of comedy and action, but also deciding "taking itself far too seriously" thrown on top. Here's hoping I'm wrong, as if they're going to win anyone over it's me, as I'm not really a diehard PW fan... barely remember the show but I remember the cheese
Can I hope Rita wins since she looks like the only savior to this movie
This movie is exactly what I was expecting thus far from the trailers alone. I was skeptical at first, but I see no reason not go in this with cautious optimism.
Bro maybe when they release the trailer in Canadian you will understand why I'm not ready to shit on this movie.
I can only approach so many failed reboots with cautious optimism before I approach them all with cautious disappointment, that point was passed many a year and failed reboot ago.
More power to you though. I hope you're not let down.
