I didn't risk getting hit by it since I've never seen it before so I just hid behind some pillars and took pot shots at it

It then chased me outside and I hid behind some stairs. Thankfully the sword swung through the bridge and killed it

I just started watching this LP. Enjoying it 'cause this chick isn't good at vidya but she starts picking things up on her own relatively quickly. Just a joy to watch someone not bitch about the game not explaining things and actually just figuring it out.

I helped someone on defender/watcher last night. i have never laughed so hard in this game, ever. dude went in, tank spec, so i whipped out the bow. a third of the fight through, dude says "fuck it" and swaps to dual daggers. hence the lolz

I really love DS2 but one way DS1 has it beat is how much schadenfreude it gives when one of your friends plays through it the first time.
