My daughter started blowing raspberries yesterday at 4 months. She happened to have a pediatrician's appointment today and the doctor was very impressed. Apparently she's on the small side, but she's developing faster than normal. Both scary and exciting.

I've got a video of it, but it's definitely not interesting for people other than family. Also, I'm lazy.

Yeah our daughter is 95th percentile for height and 80th for weight but a perfect 50th for her height. She's as tall as a 6 year old and will be 5 in about 40 days <_>

My kids are tiny and grow slowly and are otherwise unremarkable... except they start talking before they can walk. Both my boys said their first words around 9ish months old and were speaking complete sentences by 1.5 years old. My oldest's first word was kitty. Haha all kids are so different. I wonder what my third will be like.

I was walking at 9 months and warned my wife as such. My dad credited himself for exercising my legs, so he said don't do it for our daughter, but I do it to get farts out so tough luck us I guess.

Lol yeah you gotta help those babies get the farts out. My first didn't walk until well after 1 but my second walked at 10mo. I think motivation of following big brother was what did it. Funny too that some of things you get excited about when they are young changes when they get bigger. Now I wish my 7yo would fart less and talk less sometimes.

I didn't have any older siblings, but I do have a cousin that's 6 months older so that may have done it. We were attached at the hip for years.

They had to “cut” her a bit but yeah she did it naturally without medical assistant

( in French we call it epidural)

yeah epidural is the same in english. I believe it's the name of the procedure itself.

That is pretty normal amount of time to recover from birth. None of our kids were that big at birth and my wife still had a similar recovery time.

kinda crazy he came out 21.5" i suppose. he probably won't be as big as birth metrics might imply

our loaf of baby is chunking up nicely, i hope he's so fat and roll-laden by the time he starts crawling and walking
