BC is solo only, and your sub job is locked. You fight a Bygone Geomancer, immune to all spells and 100% evasion from what I saw. It'll keep summoning loupans, up to a max of 4 that I saw, though more might be possible. It'll also nuke with low to mid tier nukes, progressing higher as the battle goes on.
What you'll need to do is nuke the loupans with the element that they're weak against. IE, Geo-Poison is water based, so nuke it with thunder. Each loupan killed drops it's HP by about 5%. If they cast a dark or light based loupan, go off of the light and darkness elements and you'll still deal 50% damage. Only tried once so far, but the problem I ran into is when they stack loupans on top of each other. There's no way to differentiate which is which, except by cycling through your nukes to find the weakness.
Debuff stacking gets extremely annoying. Towards the end, I just wanted to see what all it'd do, and it had Geo Slow, Para, Grav, and Poison up. It used Concentric Pulse on one of the weaker Loupans and hit me for 64 damage, dunno if that's fixed and just a way for them to clear or what. The Loupans appear to have about 3-4k HP.
Gave it another try, now that I know what's up. You'll mostly want to kite around a bit so you can tell the loupans apart, he can and will chain cast them at times, stacking them up even if you're keeping up with taking them down. You'll need a very solid nuke set to be able to drop them in as few nukes as possible, preferably with tier 1s due to the MP efficiency.
I eventually timed out due to running out of MP. Got him to about 15%, but Radial Arcana got eaten by a Pulse killing my Loupan mid action. If he favors Loupans that are weak to bliz or thunder, it becomes very MP intensive to keep up. Make sure to freshen up on what element Geo spells are. Can save you MP and time when it comes to nuking some of the more obscure ones that we as players never really use, and some of the graphics can be difficult to tell what they are.
The area is plenty large enough to kite around and spend some time in an idle set getting MP back or just avoiding his nukes and spreading out his bubbles. A few to be particularly wary of, Gravity, Paralyze, and Malaise. Poison is annoying, but Indi-Regen covers it, and his casts are infrequent enough that it's not a big issue. Obviously move out of Loupans if you can.
Time for work, hope someone has made it past here and is able to give insight into the next steps needed. ^^/
