Watching episode tonight, love Masterchef but I dont like the sound of them skipping shit right off the batSaw promos of Graham dude lost sooooo much weight.
It's always good to see Gordon being nice.
Didn't get a chance to watch yet but passed through the living room while Graham was on. I'm not going to be able to make Krang jokes anymore, am I?
I loved Masterchef but after last night's, not so much anymore. Are all the contestants actor's and actresses? They do not look like regular every-day people. And holy shit I am tired of the "You are going....UP TO THE BALCONY" psych-outs.
My wife and I actually like the fake outs. We always try to predict when it happens after he calls out a name both on MC and on Hell's Kitchen.
My friend is on it
He is definitely an every day dude. He got barely any screen time last night but got his apron. Name is Francis Biondi.
I haven't watched this show before but I'm a huge fan of Ramsay from the UK version of Kitchen Nightmares and I'll definitely be following this season.
Ehhh as a huge fan of the show I didnt care for the way they started this season. No introduction/backstory on the characters made it hard to root for anyone. Disappoint not one comment about Grahams weight loss was made.
Wait, so they didn't show the initial elimination stuff? That's one of the best parts.
I'm pretty amp'd for this season, I've not seen it before but I happened upon the first episode the other day. Ramsay is a G, I watched the first 3-4 seasons of Hell's Kitchen religiously as well as Kitchen Nightmares.
So, in previous seasons they started w/ more than 30 people? Or the complaint is that they gave more back story to the initial 30 people? My thought when I watched it was that they'll whittle down the "cast" some and then really introduce the main players.
GL to your friend Moss, I'ma keep an eye out.
^In previous seasons, the contestants would all be invited in to cook a meal for the 3 chefs. While they cooked they talked about themselves and answered questions. The chefs then tasted their dish and decided if they got an apron or not. It was a nice way to get to meet the cast and a lot of us miss that aspect this season.
Ah ok, yeah that'd be much better than what they did this season.
Thankfully the encore comes on tonight. Forgot to see it last night.
Dunno why, but I'm a sucker for shows like this. Then again maybe it's because I enjoy cooking even though I can't make anything decent except chicken...
^ My wife got me into this show at like season 3 I think... I enjoy it a lot too, mostly to watch what these regular people make and watch them learn how better themselves as cooks. All the internal fighting and BS is a moot part for me.
We've watched since season 1. Christine and Whitney were awesome
I love this show, but I don't like how they changed the first episode around from previous seasons. Before, I would always choose who I wanted to win based off the first 1-2 "tryout" episodes. >_>;
Yeah, I've always enjoyed going "They'll make it, they won't" etc.
