Wife and I caught up tonight, didn't realize there were 2 episodes.

Sorry to see Christian go, but he bombed pretty hard on the pressure test sadly. I've never really like Cutter, but now and then he can bring home a solid dish, the heart was one of his best ones imo.

The women are solid contenders. I will be surprised if Courtney isn't in finale. Has there ever been a male/male or female/female final for this show? I didn't watch the first 2 seasons. Glad Cutter and Leslie could duke it out, and I guess part of my dislike for Cutter is how he chooses to trash talk Leslie. His 1 point is that Leslie is a stay at home dad. Yet, when Cutter's dad came on the show, he spoke of how much respect he had for him that he married his mother who already had a child and what a strong influence he is on his life. Leslie has like 7 kids, just because his wife makes $$ doesn't mean he isn't busy being a dad. Anyway, that shit gets me because parenting is tough and Cutter has no fucking clue. Also, the cheerleader gallery for Cutter cracked me up, I totally believe its because both women know they could have smashed Cutter in the finals.

Next week looks awesome, all those chefs... insane pressure!

Cutter is a tool and exemplifies southern/Texas stereotypes. Leslie is an ass but it's funny sometimes. Courtney is soooo cheesy/fake. "Oh em gee my brother is here <3 I hope I impress him"

So I guess I'm rooting for Elizabeth. Was rooting for Christian before.

My friends and I have a theory that Courtney's "brother" is an abandoned son. She left right after he was born, lamented missing his first steps and words, and works as a stripper.

It's more fun when you think the worst of people in reality TV.

There was a hilarious thread over on Reddit about Courtney. Some guys from the food world in Philly were posting that she sleeps around with every guy at X restaurant and she meows like a cat during bedtime...lol

It did seem like Elizabeth crashed. Courtney was extra annoying this episode. A super disappointing season all around.

I kinda want to see MasterChef Junior when it premieres in November.

Though yeah, I had a feeling Courtney was going to win when Elizabeth screwed up the lamb for the main course. Still think Leslie would have won if he didn't get eliminated. Can't blame him though, I'm not that fond of baking sweets/deserts either.

I'm happy with the winner. I was team Leslie, but she was my backup.

Her finale appetizer and entree looked a hundred times better.

Courtney sucks. I like this show but goddamn this maybe the cheesiest season of television I ever watched. Everything from judges comments to the husband fainting was so over the top fake

This season started off wrong when we didn't get to see the initial cook off for their aprons.

Blame Walmart for backing out at the last minute. I'm sure they will have a new sponsor next season to bring it back up to speed. I honestly thought Courtney was a really good cook throughout the show. She deserved it, especially since Elizabeth delivered raw meat.
