Have to say lads... First time watching the junior version of this show last night... Are these kids really getting no help in the preperation etc? Its crazy.. I would consider myself somewhat of an amateur who likes to cook and mix things up but wouldnt touch some of the shit these 9-12 year olds were doing... come on now!

They all get training and prep before the next challenge. Adults too. Not a lot of training but enough to where they won't fuck up badly to make it uninteresting. It's hard to imagine someone like Cutter knowing how to do Truffles off the top of his head

Yeah, but in the end they do it themselves. A lot of the stuff they do even with a week or a few days worth of prep would still be hard as fuck. Even at my age let alone 20 years ago when scrambled eggs was probably my crowning achievement.

I thought the losing team would have an elimination challenge. Not that the team WAS the elimination challenge. Thought it was bullshit... I really liked Oona. Abby is annoying as shit, granted she's 8 so that's to be expected I guess.

I liked Oona but she didn't perform much outside the first two episodes.

Sean leaving instead of Samuel after Samuel had flaky fish and Seans filets were perfect was absolute fucking bullshit.

Did the same thing in first season. I think it's bullshit as well; their criteria for keeping Samuel was "leadership" which is completely bonkers because you can't really judge the other two on that. Not to mention that quality wasn't there for the whole first half.

After Courtney winning last season because Joe can taste food with his mind. And keeping Samuel to create this bad guy. This show is becoming pretty suspect. Which I though competition shows couldn't be like this because prize money or something

I just realized I never finished watching the last season. Courtney completely turned me off as a person. I was very happy with the last seasons but season 5 sucked. I'm going to try season 6 but if they don't do the initial cook offs this season then I might just say fuck it from the start.
