Like XV, it's been in some sort of development, but as Wada said, ARR pretty much fucked them on every project going forward for awhile. Besides, SE's booth at E3 is just going to be:

"Look forward to another announcement at Gamescom about our announcement at Tokyo Gameshow regarding the trailers we'll release sometime in winter..17. Please be excited."

I wasn't really expecting much about KH3 at E3, maybe another little teaser, but FF15 not being there is just all sorts of what the fuck.

Same I here, I expect XV to be further along. Only thing I can think is maybe they don't want XV overshadowing everything else they are showing and taking the hype away from their other offerings. Mainly XIV which looks like it will have a few big announcement s at E3 and is making them good money atm. Whatever their reason it sucks ass.

The bolded is exactly why nobody should think KH3 is being worked on by anybody except the people in charge of rendering trailers for Square Enix. There's just no excuse for being this gullible this many years after 2006.

Blame Famitsu for reporting that they would be. The guy choose the wrong words last time he was interviewed. He made it seem like there was a chance and that he couldn't provide more information while he actually meant there was no chance in hell.
