I don't see how people think SOny's Press Conference was so much better. While M$ had a ton of CG trailers with some gaemplay, Sony was..basically the same thing, only they had shit about stats and stuff to add on, so I mean.. both were pretty awful.

I don't get what people expect from E3. The only good years are console launch/announcement years. No one makes exclusives anymore really. Save 1-2 releases a year maybe. Game companies can't afford to ignore half a user base.

Bloodborne is exclusive according to the trailer. Off the top of my head there was also Order 1886 and Entwined or w/e its called.

Most everything else that was multi-plat had extra benefits for PS4, though.

Yeah that's my point pretty much. Like there was 1-2, maybe three excellent things and the rest was whatever. I guess mostly because E3 is booty buttcheeks anyway, and most people wanted more info on the RPG variety for Sony, but we'll never see anymore of that shit outside of TGS

It's because the year of PS3 and Xbox 360 the Microsoft fanboys went in hard on the Sony fanboys. So because the PS4 came out on top over the Xbone the Sony fanboys are coming in to do the same punch into Microsoft ones.
I didn't see the Microsoft conference (fucking day job) but I thoroughly enjoyed the Sony one. Loved some of the indie stuff they showed. Big fan of all but maybe one or two of their games. Didn't give a shit about any of the television stuff cause I don't give a shit but hey, some people do.

This wouldn't be the place they would showcase Persona 5.

None of the conferences were incredible, I just gravitate more towards ms because my halo 2 boner is still raging hard

It's exactly like Heady said, unless new hardware is being announced there's not much to see, especially since most stuff gets leaked ahead of time now. Sony had the best surprises of the day I think, but most of this stuff you could see coming a mile away.

That's because that's how it is. They make similar consoles with little variation with little exclusives. EA and Ubisoft both make shitty games with a few good ones but have shit customer standing because of day one DLC, glitchy as shit games, and DRM.

Once again, I don't know what people expect from E3. If you want RPGs it's not going to happen at this venue unless it's a final fantasy or kingdom hearts and they apparently have nothing to show for those yet.

I didn't get to see any besides Sony's conference ;-; I was pretty happy though. They hit up all the games I cared about, brought up the Playstation TV(which I had begun to lose hope on), PlayStation Now date(which I have been waiting for a code for...fucking assholes), and showed me a couple indie titles I didn't have on my radar but now I do! All in all, pretty happy.

I'd probably have to shut off my stream if they announced any Persona 5 information. I am adamant about going blind into that game.

I dunno about you guys, but being able to use Share Factory then upload a video on my YouTube channel is pretty damn appealing to me. Overall I'm pretty hyped for E3 2014 and it's barely the first day.

I think the conferences went well. Microsoft finally dished more exclusives and a reason to buy X1 (Halo Collection will probably make me get an X1 with its huge map offerings). EA gave Mirror's Edge 2 and a look into the new Mass Effect. Ubisoft gave Rainbow 6, The Division, and it's next-gen only AC. Sony provided the information that they needed to say with the time they were given, while also appealing to it's (now) humongous populace of PlayStation owners due to Microsoft's fail last year. There really is so much information Sony said that needs to be opened up further, but overall it was solid. There is still a lot more E3 to be had, as now the companies get to really start showcasing what's going to come.

About Sony's conference.. while it was not the best, the fact that it gave information regarding the PS Vita TV, Uncharted 4, Ratchet & Clank information, LBP 3, and it's huge list of indies (which barely showed much of what is to come) certainly makes me feel Sony did an impressive job this year, considering all of what they needed to say. Of course, since E3 is an entertainment expo by its own name, it needed to cater to its media fans. I couldn't believe the outcry that "Sony is doing a Microsoft 2013" or "Only games Sony" were being said about it. It needs to happen, and they did it pretty well in my opinion (Be glad it wasn't another half-hour on music/video unlimited).

I'm excited for Nintendo. I haven't played Wii in forever, and for the first time I didn't buy a Nintendo console this generation (Wii U). Really hope that begins to change my mind tomorrow.

The second thing the MS Conference was about was a Forza 5 track. That's a sign of a bad, diseased mind behind your E3 conference. If it's not interesting after your very first reveal, it's not a good conference.
Sony spent the first hour talking about indies, for god's sake, and it was still more exciting to watch. I wanted to play so many more of the games Sony showed than MS showed, so despite overlap and multiplats Sony still won E3, even if they ended it with some TV/movie bullshit. Grim Fandango > Master Chief Collection. Deal with it.
