Finally got caught up on Nintendo's event.

EA <<< a rotting fish <<< Ubisoft < MS/Sony < Nintendo

MS definitely cleaned up their act which was super nice to see. Halo master chief edition gave me a five hour boner; did not see a doctor.
Sony had a lot of good titles but they lost me when they brought out numbers and started talking about TV.
Both MS and Sony only had a few exclusives. Sony has like nothing coming out until next year now; TLOU PS4 doesn't count its a remake.

Nintendo started strong with Reggie v Iwata, they killed it with robot chicken as appetizers and fully delivered with a ton of sweet games for the main course. They have a solid lineup of games coming out this fall and teased us gracefully for next year as well. Over the next 12 months I can safely say most of my money spent on games will be going to Nintendo. I still have a PS4 for GTAV, Arkham Knight and Destiny of course, but Nintendo gets it from me.

Eh the more I think about it, the more I think Nintendo has it in the short to mid term, but unless they can maintain it we'll be in the same situation in 2 years after all these first party sequels are out and were waiting for more games. They took it this year but that lack of 3rd party support makes it a tough decision still about whether to buy a console or not.

Sony TVs are way overpriced for quality. I can't speak for 4k but ya normal TVs are not worth their premium price point. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them.

Next closest and you have to start looking at mediocre Vizio or some Panasonic Plasmas.. all of which have more than double the latency of the best Sony LED.

Not that it makes or breaks Playstation TV either way.. but it's the right company to market it.

No. In fact, besides the Sony TVs, plenty of plasma televisions consistently rank highly, and their display quality is superior to that of current LCD/LED technologies on the market. OLED was going to be better, but OLED may never even come into existence.

Yeah, they "rank highly" because everything that ISNT a Sony LED panel has double the latency of them. Look at your own data.

I would wager a guess that you didn't read the article, and that you only glanced at the grid. Both the Sony televisions and all of the high ranking plasmas are faster than 20ms in actual performance. I wouldn't say that's repeating what you said, since you talked about 20ms and 30ms.
