Man. He's mad lol, but I do kinda agree cause some of these horses aren't even raced until the Belmont so they're super fresh vs the other horses who raced the first two legs.

I *think*? I do know back in the 70s when a triple crown actually happened, things were a little different. Overall, I just think all the press, much like with anyone/thing going after records is what got to him and the rest.

I'm honestly happy the horse didn't win. While I think its a great story that they bought the horse for 10k, the owners drove me nuts calling themselves dumbasses.

Jockey gave it a great ride, perfectly positioned to mount a charge coming in to the straight but got nothing when he asked the question. Didn't see the owners rant but sounds like they are real dumbasses. From his breeding California Chrome really shouldn't have been able to race above 7 furlongs, the triple crown is meant to be hard and winning even 2 legs gives him great stud value.

Epsom Derby yesterday was won by Australia. Looks one hell of a horse and hardly had to exert himself to win a very strong renewal of the race. Think he will certainly be at the Breeders Cup and wining easy.

Agreed. It's not a level playing field. Never will be unless they change how horses are entered.
