I ended up grabbing the normal edition for $31 and I see the price is rising quickly. May gift this to a friend and grab a deluxe edition if it seems worth it. Played about 5 minutes on the Bone yesterday, got me pretty hyped.

It's everything you liked about the first one (well, no Sam if that's your thing) made better. Improved stealth mechanics, better weapon variety (a new version of a weapon isn't straight upgrades, i.e. Rifles range from Bolt Action Sniper, SMGs, and AK-47s), more tombs that are more elaborate. Actual quests with hub zones, a real crafting system (not just "find moar scrap").

You can go back in this thread and see my thoughts when it came out, and now stack improved graphics and frame rate on top of that along with being able to play with KB/Mouse (higher difficulty levels disable auto-aim, which makes controller play painful as fuck)

Plus you get to fight Bears AND Dual Wield Climbing Axes.

Also, despite future Nvidia Game-Ready drivers supposedly being locked behind the Geforce Experience the drivers for RoTR and The Division Beta are available on Nvidia's website - http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/97767

This game looked really good already on Xbox One, but I think the PC version hands down has the best graphics in gaming.

Can't wait to see the shots some screenarchers pull off with this.

I started will everything maxed but it quickly turned out my machine couldn't handle that when some action intensive cutscenes happened I cranked everything down and will be slowly testing out what I can set higher, because the game looked amazing.

I'm playing on High with AF turned to 16x instead of 8x. Purehair isn't quite as much of an asswhupping as it was for the time with the previous game, but it can still cost 10 or more fps in closeups. That said it's totally worth it because the default hair looks kinda fugly. Nvidia thinks HBAO+ is a good idea, but I actually saw some pretty noticeable errors with it so I'm just using normal AO.

Game looks amazing, only about half an hour in. Ryse is still the most beautiful game I've ever seen on PC, but this is pretty close.

Btw for anyone getting this game, Poison Arrows are OP as fuck. Abuse the hell out of them every chance you get.

I don't much like her voice, face, and teeth in this one compared to 2013. Still early on. But I like 2013 model best so far still. glad they stuck to Lar uh and not Laire uh

They made her more resemble Camilla Luddington then the model they used in the 2013 verison (Megan Farquhar). Camilla provided the voice in the previous one, so dunno why the voice would bother you.

Put in about 6 hours so far and i'm thoroughly enjoying it, only playing it on medium settings but still looks pretty damn good to me and haven't had any noticable fps drops so its all good for me, also 2nding dat ass.

Camilla did the motion capture for 2013's as well, so what exactly did they use Megan for? The face and the body? i.e. Megan's face and body on Camilla's motion capture?
