    trick for stacking non-stackable items

    Sure its hard to explain:
-Lets say you are making a Advanced Cooling Theta Photon cannon for your ship. it takes Thamium9 QTY 200, Chrysonite QTY:250 & gravitino balls Qty 10.
-Ok you have that installing in your ship and ready to go.
-Now make sure you ship has 3 available inventory slots and DISMANTLE the Advanced Cooling Theta Photon cannon.
-In those 3 empty slot you will get Thamium9 QTY 100, Chrysonite QTY:175 & gravitino balls Qty 5....
-Now look at the Gravitino balls it will show 5 out of 100.. move that to your inventory boom now you when u find balls they will stack to that pile
-when selling them ALWAYS leave at least two in the stack to keep stack alive, now when find or purchase gravitino balls u can stack em
This methodm has worked with ALL RARE items that I've use to craft ship items.. Hope that helps
basically, construct then dismantle something that uses the item you want to be able to stack. dismantling automatically stacks the items you receive from the dismantle

is there any reason not to dismantle every part of a multi-tool or ship before you trade it in for an upgrade?

I had the same issue, clocked around 14 hours on my first planet. I don't think getting every point of interest is viable, or even remotely possible now. These areas are actually scaled to be planet-sized. I had a beacon pop that I had to fly at top speed on the ground for 6 hours to reach. From where I was to it, there's the typical points every 2ish minutes walking speed apart. You can go faster in space so I just jumped to the other side of the planet to get to it. That really put things into perspective for me. Once you get used to it and know what each point contains, you can know before hand if it's worth landing or stopping.

-Drop pods are always +1 suit inventory for 10k units * what number of upgrade that is.
-Single shack shelters are always alien rep + word + multitool augment.
-Double shack shelters are always multitool augment + health pack.
-Beacons always highlight an advanced life form (IE, outpost or trade station) and sometimes have a multitool augment
-Observatories always highlight ruins and sometimes have a multitool augment or alien trader
-Abondoned facilities that make me think the Flood is in the game have blueprints and a downed drone and sometimes a multitool augment and alien rep
-Manufacturing facilities always have a steel door you have to break through and they typically have blueprints
-Trade outposts and trade centers always have an alien and trade network bot
-Ruins always have 3-4 words near by
    -Plaques always have 1 word
-Monoliths always have 3-4 words near by and they offer various rewards for correct choices

Any of the modern day facilities (IE anything above ruins except for trade outposts and trade centers, they always have them) seems to be able to have a global trade network bot at them, but it's rare. That's all that comes to mind now for the important ones. The worst ones to bother stopping for are the points of interest with nothing to them, they're just there with maybe a crate or two around it, or the ones with a mini distillery or whatever of Platinum. All of the above have distinct shapes and sizes that you'll learn as you play.

Had a weird bug last night where I got thrown into space after boarding my ship. I was unable to move forward for a bit until I turned around and reverse thrust for a moment.

I need to identify one more species on my home world...

Impossible. Couple days and I am still loving the game. Found a dinosaur world last night, got jumped by pirates, and destroyed a freighter... Good stuff. I just wish there was a better waypoint system

    Few things...

How are you guys making money? I played for about 10 hours straight, got mad slot upgrades for the suit and plan on saving money for a new ship now that suit upgrades are like 200k.

Second, are you guys spending time fully unlocking all things on a planet? With stations being near every system you travel to, and bonus for scanning new things being so low, I see no point to sticking around on a planet too long. I'd much rather find the couple huge nodes of rare metal, then fly to the next system to sell things and grab new upgrade possibilities. Found a couple of Atlas stuctures, but can't upgrade my atlas thingy yet.

But yeah, game is repetitive as hell, so I hope they add content sooner than later.

think making money is just about getting lucky. Right now I am on a planet that has these sac things in caves that sell for 27k. But the planet is extremely toxic lol also trying to find and outpost with a galactic orb salesman is almost impossible on this shithole so it seems I have to fill up and go to the space station to sell @.@

Total Biscuit was having significant lags and hitching problems with his PC stream just now. CohhCarnage is playing on Twitch and his stream is going fine. Seems hit and miss?

Not surprising since it's basically a space fetch quest with no goal except increasing your ship and suit inventory since let's face it, no one is making it to the center of the universe.

After hearing about all the issues with the PC port, I think I'm going to wait a while to buy it. It sounds like they focused on polishing the PS4 version and had to rush on the PC port.

There's so much potential with a few updates that could make the game amazing imo. Give it a traditional fps controls, add a lot more aggressive creatures, aliens, pirates.

I guess make it like destiny but with the space exploration. But that's not what the devs envisioned their game to be.

Mods would be perfect for this kind of game, but I don't know if it's possible for the devs to release tools for the game.

The Steam reviews are focused on the PC performance not exactly the gameplay.

Tools are in no way required. Dragon Age Inquisition was supposedly unmoddable according to Bioware, but actually ended with a decent mod scene (over 1000 mods on the Nexus)

I was reading an article about black holes in the game. Some will add items to the inventory while other will give severe damage to the ship, but all will send you clear across the galaxy and disappear after dumping you off. The guy in this one was dumped 50 jumps from his current objective.

It's VERY obviously a framework game, similar to minecraft (yes yes I know), but there's clearly just room for more "eventually." As someone said, add more aggresive fauna and so on it could spice some things up, but the whole "base building" they mentioned in a future update, you'd think would be something they added off the bat, since even the most bare bones minecraft clone (for example) lets you do more with the resources you gather, including base building.

Yeah you'll probably rarely return to a planet you already visited unless you're completing all the beacons and whatnot, but hell just something more than rinse and repeat after the first 2 planets would be nice. It's kind of like they put their all into the beginning then forgot to make a middle and end.

It's Destiny with more exploration than combat, so if that game got dull for you after a short while this will probably be just as bad or worse. It sucks cause I was really enjoying it playing it with my in law, but after jump #5 I'm like hold on, why am I bothering with this?

I wouldn't compare it to destiny, closest thing it has to it is the inventory system and how you navigate it.. slowly.

So when someone finds the future USS Voyager to guide them through the Borg transwarp hub, they win the game?
