guess when i've watched it's just always been baeme, went back through VODs and you're definitely right that he has played since MSI though, first series was 2-0 not 0-2 didn't go through the rest assuming you're right on the 9. the articles that came out some time after MSI said he needed 2 months to recover + possible additional surgeries, assumed he was not playing.

oh well guess we'll just see, the korea/SKT fanboyism(somehow it's even more potent than TSM fanboyism) is always strong in league but EDG wonnered the only time they've met competitively this year sorry boys. worlds will be interesting

also since you're kind of new, for years people have hated on bengi, literally non-stop. now he's some sort of god and SKT is da best, is it possible comeptition is just weaker? the only other showing we have from korea was a pretty embarassing one from GE(koo). you'll also have an EXTREMELY hard time talking anyone into believing that korea is a stronger region this year, especially after china bought a ton of talent out of it.

Edg beat Easyhoon twice in that series before kkoma shit himself. Skt got out coached that series and baited them into taking Leblanc when their whole team comp was centered around countering them.

How can you not think Korea is better then China considering that most of the elite players from China are fucking Koreans.

well for starters, china has exploded organizationally this split. last year they were a very under developed region, people were claiming they were even behind NA in the coaching/analyst area.

second, looking purely at numbers in BO5(when games matter) we have a chinese team who is 8-3 (won the whole thing) and a korean team who is 5-5 (lost to said chinese team.)

we also have the previous international tournament(IEM katowice) where the worst team in china steamrolled the best korean at the time. IEM was poorly structured but it still happened.

third as i said and as you said, china bought most of the "best" talent in korea sans faker.

also bengi has been playing eve, idk if i'd call that utility or not.

to wrap it all up, i don't think SKT holds a candle to last years SSW

also you're probably just going to say the easyhoon thing again about EDG beating SKT, but a loss is a loss... i'm sure if they meet again faker will probably play all the games, yes. but i personally don't believe the outcome would have been any different. you also have deft & pawn on record saying easyhoon is harder to play against, could just be shit talking but still.

Bengi has been playing eve recently but he became known for his Nunu this year. Mechanically he's fallen off super hard from season 3

Eve also presents utility in the fact that she has global pressure if her camps are not warded. But yeah she is a fighter in the standard sense

EDG has not had pawn since MSI.. i realize most people do not watch LPL due to it being on at weird times and the casters are annoying so i'll forgive you not reading my posts at all/not knowing the situation.

please read posts/educate yourself before assuming things though, since i probably have to draw a comparison for you, imagine TSM with a sub midlaner, easily a bottom 3 team. EDG is still at the top of the standings easily with a sub mid

also keep in mind pawn was still sick during MSI, still won or went even with faker every single game.
