Weeeeeeeee, I got my Worlds Finals ticket!

During the initial release, the site crapped out and looped me endlessly in the waiting room until there weren't any tickets left. Was quite a bit upset because I previously managed to get tickets for the semi finals with lesser tickets available and thought, this should be easy. Almost agreed to buy one for 120€ through Reddit. So glad I didn't pull the trigger as I magically managed to get one in today's release. Brussel + Berlin, here I come! Btw, anyone else attending?

I don't work for riot, and I agree with him. I get it, its a job for them, but I don't know many jobs where I can spew filth out of my mouth, get caught doing it, and still have the job at the end of the day.

You want the paycheck? Obey the rules. Those pubbers playing with him and trolling or feeding or whatever - they aren't getting paid to play it. He is. He SHOULD be held to a higher standard. He represents the company when he's receiving checks from them.

i'm sure Jordan often acted like a "complete shitheel" when playing street ball, the difference would be unless he was being straight up belligerent/racist/whatever people probably wouldn't go cry to the NBA commissioner about it. the guy is some peoples hero sure but he was a total douche i'm sorry.

My point was more that using "Jordan in a formal practice argument" doesn't really work for the point Thorin is trying to make. Formal practices would equate to scrims in League. Solo Queue would be more street ball or pickup. Meh. It's a bad example from me.

Most of Thorin's content revolves around being the anti-mainstream guy. He gets his views from it and it's a smart play by him.

most of his views come from essentially playing devils advocate, which could be said is "anti-mainstream" sure. but it's still a stance people need to be aware of instead of just blindly believing x y or z.

if someone hadn't gone against the mainstream the world would still be flat. not saying this is equatable to that but seriously, before assuming that everyone that says riot is too strict is just mad because they got banned do some research.

everyone also ignores all the valid points he brings up about how if league of legends is so much more toxic than the other games then what is it about the game that causes that, and shouldn't that be the focus of riots attention instead of trying to play psychiatrist to millions of players? cmon now.

also when you ban from competitive in NA and EU and allow regions as toxic as korea to compete there is a serious problem with infrastructure..

it's more toxic than other games because the playerbase is bigger, it's a numbers game, not a mystery. also, if i had to guess i'd say the game skews younger than most games too

Riot doesn't necessarily have complete control over Asia as they do NA EU and OCE
