It is actually, we get to see high quality games, which is all I care about.
Same in Starcraft - don't give a fuck about nationality, just gimme dem HQ games.

I care about both.

I want the highest quality games, but I want my region to be able to bring those high-quality games. Having one region with this kind of dominance means more exciting final tiers, but it leads to less entertaining or dramatic lower run playoffs. Having a World's so regularly and completely dominated by a single region means that it often feels like just another LCK playoffs instead of a World's event. Regional diversity matters for the feel of competition throughout the event.

Also: Why does Korea always seem to throw game 3 when they smash 1 & 2 (except against C9, because lolNA).

Overconfidence. This is a good example. Fiora was a TERRIBLE pick.
