Chogath is pretty fun in it. Scream, stomp, scream, stomp, nom.

Lol I think chogath is the only one I've really enjoyed so far.
Kayle is also a ton of fun. I enjoy that champ anyways. You can spam heal, invul, spam slow, it's pretty good lol. I build nashors, runaanns, lichbane, morello, deathcap, and m pen boots. Good times.
Sona is perma ban in this mode.
Sivir was pretty fun. Spell shield every 3 seconds. Q was spammable and so was W. Was fkn funny having perma AOE aas.
Syndra was pretty fun in URF mode. As long as you don't get jumped from outside your vision, nobody can really get close to you.
Idk..I find Jayce to be the most OP. Once you get level 2 you can win any lane as long as you can land the skill shot. And if you don't land the skillshot its okay because you'll definitely scare them away with constant laser balls flying every second. Anyone that shows up is just greeted by Q's that do 1/3rd of their HP before sometimes even being in your vision. You could 2shot pretty much any sona a full screen away lol
it's pretty funny duo laning as likek jayce/ziggs or some shit
Quick question. I finally hit level 20 yesterday and have turned my attention to runes.
I play ARAM primarily (I like the quick paced game over the default slower paced objective rift) but will play rift with friends.
What would you recommend for a simple/cheap, and none tailored rune setup for "all purpose" champs?
Tank
AD
AP
Support
I looked up some guides but there's too many.
I have 2 pages and 18000 IP to burn. Looking to get equal with people. My level 30 rl friend playfully convinces I suck. I try to convince him I suck only when playing with him as everyone else is running around in full rune setups but he doesn't think so lol; I hold my own when I'm not playing with him but solo queuing
1 guide mentions:
As all purpose, but it was written in 2013. Later on when I come decent I'll look to build a page per fav champ, but for now just to begin my journey to 30 .... !Greater Mark of Attack Damage x9
Greater Seal of Armor x9
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist x9
Greater Quintessence of Gold x3![]()
ad reds, armor yellows, MR blues, attack speed or AD quints for generic AD page, Mpen reds, armor yellows, MR blues, AP quints for generic AP page. you will want to get stuff like...attack speed blues (i think?) and scaling HP yellows at some point, movespeed quints are ok on some champs but not super important.
Skip the gold quintessence. Get:
Greater Mark of Attack Damage x9 (Used by pretty much all ADC)
Greater Seal of Armor x9 (used by pretty much every champion regardless of role)
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist x9 (magic is mostly a problem post-level 6, at which point scaling starts to be better than flat runes)
Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed x3 (used by most ADC)
This is pretty standard for AD and goot to get you started off. Later, you'll want:
Mark of Magic penetration/hybrid penetration x9 (depends on your preference; hybrid penetration is better for early CS'ing and harassing for mid laners - magic penetration is better for late-game)
Glyph of Ability Power x9 (useful for midlaners if you think you can survive without the extra magic resist)
Seal of Scaling Health x9 (good for tanks of champs with HP scaling abilities)
Quintessence of Ability Power x3 (used by pretty much all mid)
Quintessence of Attack Damage x3 (Good for champions that don't rely on attack speed)
Quintessence of Move Speed x3 (incredibly helpful for most support champs and some junglers)
That will make you set for all standard roles. There's some special cases and situations where you'll want crit marks etc. But the abovementioned is pretty standard and will last you a LONG while.
Thanks both for the posts. Will use the recommendation.
Quick question, would attack speed and attack damage apply to ability power champs (i.e. Morgana, Bard) too? For some reason it sounds like it's just for ADC lol as the rune falls under physical attack.
In relating to auto attacks, I presume!
AD reds can be used on some AP champs in specific situations but are generally only used for adc/adtop/adjunglers. if you suck at last hitting on AP champs you can use ad reds to give you a little extra help. attack speed is useless on most AP mids, but i believe some people rune attack speed runes on diana mid/jungle. also, attack speed reds are used on a bunch of tankier junglers to help with their jungle clearing early on
Mystery skins were pretty good to me today.
Sweeper Alistar
Championship Thresh
Bladethorn Morgana
Sailor GP =/
Guardian of the Sands Kha
Gave:
Reaper Heca
El Tigre Braum
Hextech Sion
Jade Wukong
Super Teemo
God Bard is so fucking worthless in ranked. <3 new Nasus skin. 2/0 with it(lol). :D Got to about 700 stacks in a game. Was fkn glorius taking 3/4 Jinx's HP.
I use hybrid reds and sometimes quints on AP champs for early game harrass. I also use it for any AP jungler like Amumu for early clear speed (Although you can argue with Gromp HP% damage now that AS is more viable). It actually really helps in mid to poke out or help with early trades. Especially against AD champs.
Honestly, I'd recommend a single point in AS mastery rather than AS or AD runes on a mid-laner for CSing. Hybrid/magic penetration runes are too important to skip, and are immensely helpful throughout the entire game. I can't speak for Diana though, never played her.
how could no one mention Varus in URF? That guy is straight up rapid fire sniper shots w/ Q.
