I love Gragas jungle, but I fear I'll never see him in the role I wish he could play. Riot hated fast push, and has done everything they can to squash that meta. Gragas in his current state in a fast push meta coming out of the jungle would be godlike.

I always end up playing him very tanky in the jungle (because no one wants to go tanky top in low elo) but I love playing him more AP Bruiser. I miss his completely "binary" playstyle of AP monster :*(

I wanna play swain in SR, but I've seen literally 0 in the last year or so, so I don't have much modern research to go on. Yeah, you can play whatever, wherever when you're bronze, but I like to have things fully researched before I commit to them in games.

go rod of ages first, swain is an extremely strong pick the hardest thing about him is CSing, i personally hate his auto attack animation and his abilities don't help much until you're fed. after rod it doesn't really matter what you build, i'd suggest death cap probably

you don't see him in competitive because he's very easy to counter but in solo queue/low elo (before masters) he is very easy to carry a game on

good thing about getting somewhat fed on swain is you dont even have to hit his W in lower brackets, just run into their team with your ult on, E the carry and laffo

Yeah I've got the goods on swain's potential builds, I just need matchup experience and trade knowledge against toplaners. Swain's problems in the short-term, from my research and playing (admittedly just ARAMs at this point) are being kited and coordinating ganks with the jungler (getting people knocked out of W or Q), and trying to go up against bruisers with stupid amounts of health (scion/mao). I'd also not know the first thing about how to properly trade with a goddamn Riven, where 1 kill = blown up lane = roaming riven = fed = GG.

you should be playing him mid not top, you will rarely run into a riven/mao/sion as your lane opponent, plus the latter two are champions for your ADC to focus.

i don't play swain much but from what i see all that matters is that first kill, ask your jungler for the first gank and you should be set, if you get behind on him it's pretty hard to catch up.

you described basic gameplay problems though you'll run into those issues on any champion
