Again, I am not even judging the merits of your arguments (well, I guess I am because I do believe that most of what you argue is contrarian and specious), I am just saying it is annoying as fuck to even try to respond to you.

For the nth time, it's not so much what you are saying, it's how you are saying it or trying to defend it, and how you treat those that disagree with you. When I said it was illogical, I wasn't mocking you. I literally meant your argument was illogical. You were making an individual assessment and then judging it by comparing it to others. there's just no real reason for it. solo queue has been the staple and pinnacle of league of legends. it's always been a way to tell how good you are at carrying 4 other people. climbing is extremely satisfying whether you do it by yourself or in a duo. the dynamic queue system will almost guarantee that if you queue up by yourself you will be playing with some sort of premade, whether it's 2 people, 3 people, or 4 people.

before even looking at how this doesn't make much sense due to the fact that we already have ranked 5v5 and normal games for this type of play let me lay out a scenario for you. let's say you're playing ADC and you ask your support if he can ward. now generally this player because of how the community in league of legends works, will either reply passive aggressively, reply toxicly, ignore you, or just ward. now think of when you say something like that to a support when you're the sole person playing with 4 man premade, everyone is going to jump on your dick. it's a horrible pack mentality that exists league of legends, rightfully so people stick up for their own, but they don't care if they tilt other members of their team.

99% of the time when i solo queue and i get duos in my game they are toxic and suck each others dicks the entire game, this is just going to amplify that and make playing alone nearly impossible. i personally think i have some good ideas to make the league of legends community more team-oriented as that's clearly the direction riot wants to go, but they are approaching it in the wrong way.

actually that was my main argument, nowhere in there do i say solo queue is bad and if you disagree you work for riot. i do think this system will make solo queue worse though so you're not wrong there.

if you're talking about my assessment in this topic you're clearly wrong as people agreed with it almost immediately after i said it, and as i'm sure you know there are thousands of posts everywhere (including your official forum) saying exactly what i just said. so in no way is it an "individual assessment."

Except that's not what an individual assessment implies. An individual assessment is where you as an individual take in all the facts, process them, and form an opinion. That opinion matching other people's opinions doesn't make it a group assessment, it just makes it several individual assessments that match. A group assessment is like, say, a jury. You take in the fact, process them as a group, deliberate until you come up with a unanimous group decision.

Edit: And if I really want to be a contrarian asshole, I could point out that even though most people would agree with that assessment, it's technically wrong. You can breathe in most any fluid, you just won't live for very long if it's not the right mix. Also, pure oxygen is not that correct mix.

It's not tearing apart your english, it's you having a flawed understanding of what the term being used meant. In turn, it made your arguments self-contradictory. It's like trying to debate evolution with the argument "I've lived by the beach for 20 years and I haven't evolved fins or gils, so it must not exist." You keep bringing up things that are completely unrelated because you don't properly understand what the word means or implies.

This. I actually agree with some of your concerns about the new queue. I just don't think it is anywhere as concerning as you make it out to be.

As for your illogical statement, let me define more clearly why it was illogical. A players prime is defined by their individual skill, but you attempted to define DLs prime by comparing him to others. While I still disagree with your assessment, that statement itself did not follow logical reasoning.

if i said i think aaron rodgers is past his prime and is a questionable pickup for X team it would follow the same principle.

also the fact that doubelift went from the best ADC in the world to barely top 10 was just a contributing factor, i think he's fallen off mechanically too. but whatever i don't see how you can find that illogical. you're trying way too hard
