Ashita v2 [Windower Alternative] Now Dead!

Anyone have any experience with the pbar addon? When I load it, the addon just spams my game log with errors saying it can't find the PetTP variable.

One other question...I've searched around this thread a bit (may have missed it) but I am trying to figure out how to adjust the fontsize of TParty permenantely, specifically the TP listed to the left of each party member's name.

I found the lua to adjust it in \Ashita\Scripts\Addons\TParty\TParty.lua, and did so by adjusting it accordingly.

However I found when I logged out and then back in again later it was reverted to the same settings before I made the change. Does it re-download the lua's automatically each time it starts up or something?

This may be an incredibly dumb question, but...how exactly do you get started writing an XML for ashitacast? I've seen some sample XMLs but have no idea how to actually use the thing D: I don't think spellcast/gearswap was a thing back when I was playing before.

everything that can be adjusted is explained there. in short, you make sets, and adjust when the sets are used with rules at the bottom such as 'wear <stand> set when idle', or 'wear <tp> set when engaged'.

It does if it finds changes with them to ensure they are up to date. You can copy TParty to another folder called something like TParty2 and make your changes there, then use TParty2 instead of the default one. TParty does not include any configurations to adjust it currently since it was never requested before.

I started trying to run Ashita tonight, and it keeps forcing itself on top when in windowed mode. Can't alt+tab out to anything else. Any suggestions?

There is nothing in Ashita that tells it to stay on top at all. So that sounds kind of strange. (There is only a command to bring it to front but you have to type it out or send it via the MMF for it to even happen.)

Do you have any special settings in your graphics card setup to ensure Direct3D applications stay focused or something similar?
I've never heard of someone with this type of problem that I can recall.

Looks like some update was pushed through, and now i get a runtime error every time I try to log in.

Oddly enough, I logged on fine initially and went into the monstrosity zone (doing quest for the first time) and crashed when it turned me into a rabbit and now I can't log in (crashes every time). I can log on mules just fine though.

Any ideas?

In that circumstance, try disabling all of your addons/plugins and loading them one-by-one until you find out which one is causing the crash.

What's weird is 1) I could log in mules just fine, 2) it was working fine before I go into that cs for monstrosity and 3) I logged in on vanilla POL and got out of that cs/zone and logged back in Ashita just fine. Well I say just fine as I was having weird 'lag' type issues where my screen would freeze intermittently but not sure if that's related, but never happened prior. Quite weird all around.

Have you done Monstrosity before? SE changed the .dat format a while ago and it's possible that Ashita isn't parsing it correctly?

That was the first time. I was just wrapping up the entry quest so I could start working on the vorseal. Never even though about doing it until yesterday.

We never fixed it in windower (so gearswap/shortcuts don't work with Monstrosity) and people don't complain about it because no one does Monstrosity anymore. Could be that no one on Ashita has done monstrosity since the .dat format changed.

Ashitacast, Dressme, Lootwhore, Bellhop should all support wardrobe2 as of ~6 am est. If you updated before then, just unload them and reopen launcher to get the new ones. Atomos fixed structs last night as well, so everything should be functional. Didn't get around to posting last night.

Tried bellhop and it just keeps saying not in shop. Even tried manually download and installing in case something was funky but nope

Just as an update (forgot to post what I found). Looks like you were correct. I'd load in as a male hume naked (my char is elvaan) instead of a rabbit. The crash would occur as during any cs or npc dialog and would cause me not being able to log back in as I'd still be in that zone. Loaded vanilla POL and worked just fine, was able to level up and get my vorseal. Made sure to not be in the monstrosity zone and loaded up ashita and no problems.

Long story short, dont try to mess with monstrosity while logged in ashita.

Does ashita gear swaps not work with wardrobe 2? Nothing is swapping for me if it's in the 2nd wardrobe but the 1st works just fine.

Ashitacast was updated to work with wardrobe2 on update day. Check your versions:

/ver should be 30160329_0 for latest retail client
/aver should be 2.2.0.16 interface 1.09 for latest ashita client
ashitacast should be 1.22
