Barely ever happened though to be fair, but then again the other thing it did was double food duration so yeah, shield was awesome.

Art book to debut at FanFest, comes with Cid/airship minion code. Not sure if "debut" means it's for purchase there or if they'll show it off and then we can buy it later.

Well, I was going to pull up the community rep response on the topic earlier in the month, but it looks like they said the exact same thing.

Just wanted to pop in and let you know that the current plan is to debut this book at the Las Vegas and London Fan Festival events and then to sell copies on the respective online store afterwards!
We'll have some more details to share on the Lodestone soon, so please stay tuned!

I should think it's safe to assume it'll be for sale in person...? Having a communal fanfest art book that you can look at but not buy would be pretty weird. Bonus points if they just throw it in everyone's swag bag (assuming it's just like a magazine, and nothing fancy), but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping (pessimistically) for also, so that I don't need to buy two of them.

lol, unlikely. I think they're going to be selling limited quantity of those at fan fest along with the Moogle plushy they showed during LiveLetter. Would be weird to only have the book as a display piece... Didn't they sell OSTs at a past event? I can't remember, but I thought I heard those were being sold?_?

I don't know about Before Meteor and A Realm Reborn, but Umbral To Astral (or whatever it's called) isn't going to be out until after the western FanFest events are over. I think it's out in December?

Looks like there's a new live letter during the Vegas fanfest (17-19th October), no specific date/time announced yet. Patch is confirmed to be after that then, but I don't think anyone reasonably expected it to be in the first half of the month anyway. Hopefully we don't have to wait until then to get a date for it.
