UK Fanfest on 25th October.
Tried to book a day off prior to the Saturday to chill with a friend I'm going with.
Turns out it's Diwali (indian festival)
All slots are already booked.

yeah it's really basic, i suppose the plus side of a 3 hr trip home is I will get to nap, lol. I'm on the south coast, so despite not being geographically far, the trains take foreverrrrr.

Yeah so I just cancelled my reservation. It's either the trip or tuition in the spring. Can't afford to have credit card debt if i'm either not working or going part time. It kills me to miss out on something like this but I need to get my priorities straightened out. I'll give it to him for free if he wants to at least try, but they ask for a photo ID, and the name won't match on the ticket so it doesn't sound likely they'll let him in lol.

But yeah, my parents want me to double up on classes to knock out my BA faster so that requires some changes. I'll be more than happy to quit my tech support job to focus on that. Customer's treat me like shit all day every day.
