Funny enough, the worst part isn't the mountain... I'm looking at the base to the left and fearing how I'm going to navigate through the maze on the ground to find my way back to the start of the climb after I fall off.

Ehh, I know most of us could make the climb almost with closed eyes, I agree that finding the exit after getting back down was more of a problem for me

Fuck finding the way back! SMN/WHM is what I usually had to run as for ENM anyway. Run to top with closed eyes>Teleport-Mea>gtfo.

I climbed it in the Abyssea era, just to get SMN head seals. I soloed all of my AF3+1 because I was insane.

Honestly, as much as I miss the game, I miss the people more. I keep up with *some* of them, and played TERA/Aion/FF14 with some, but the forums and emails for many people are gone. It gives me a nostalgic sad

Every now and then there will be free login campaigns for a weekend or week at a time. Non subs can login and check things out again if you want. Just be prepared to download a shitload of updates. The last free login was a few months ago, so I imagine we're due for another sometime relatively soon.
