    Solution:

    Albert says he doesn't know, but knows that Bernard doesn't know as well. That means you can rule out any month that has a unique date because Bernard would have known if that's the case, so May and June are out.
    Bernard then says he knows, which means one of the dates which he was told must be unique, meaning you can rule out the 14th.
    And then Albert says he knows it. Therefore, he must have been told July, because if he was told August, he still wouldn't know.
