Stephen Hawking and a few others have commented on time travel a bit. Reverse time travel may be impossible due to our entire existence/causality being just a result of this forward time vector. The existence of paradoxes suggests they may be right (if you could build a time machine and went back, could you then kill yourself, negating your ability to go back and kill yourself...).
Forward time travel is pretty easy, just accelerate towards the speed of light. Even at our current technology we could slowly accelerate towards close to the speed of light (never getting there), and the rest of the universe would start aging much much much faster than us the closer we got to the speed of light. No we couldn't. Not realistically. Not with the current rocket fuel and cost of production / size restrictions. Hypothetically? Yes. Provided you had a ship the size of a country or so to accommodate the fuel needed to accelerate for long enough to get to even .9c. Also would never get anywhere near in human lifespan at the acceleration forces a human body can take.
The fastest a manned spacecraft has ever gone is 3.7 x 10^-5 c. The dv/dt needed to get to to ~.9c that a human could take would require a ridiculous burn time and fuel quantity that I am not calculating on my phone.
