While I don't quite share Adajer's fear exactly, the open ocean is a freaky place sometimes. I prefer having my feet on the sand. I was in Panama City, FL for our spring college formal ages ago with my girlfriend ~50 yards out from shore in one of these:

She was sitting on my lap. A Spotted Eagle Ray leaped out of the water and landed on top of us (mainly her) in the boat:

If I had to rank my unmanly freakouts over my life, this would unquestionably be #1. Flipped the boat, hide yo kids / wives / girlfriends, got to shore, and was generally displeased by the whole episode.
