The only reason not to pledge for a project that interests you, is if you can't afford it if it succeeds.

Just a heads up for those who were interested but possibly wary of the KS. The campaign is over and we have opened an online store for people who want to pick up anywhere from 4 starter decks to two full copies of the first set (Six copies of 120 unique cards). The higher tiers also come with felt 2-player mats.

Thank you for your support. Unfortunately, We did not meet our goal for Advent Saga on kickstarter. However, during the time of our campaign we received a lot of feedback from players wanting to have cards of their own. This is something we want to make available to you, and additionally, we see this as a great way for us to continue production on the Advent Saga, both digitally and physically.

That being said, we'd like to announce the opening of our online store featuring 4 packages that will give each of you a physical Alpha Kit of your own and additional physical and digital rewards. The packages will be mailed out in waves of every 100 buyers beginning in September and all the proceeds will go directly to funding the development of Advent Saga, both as a physical and digital game.

Advent Saga will be at the PAX Diversity Lounge this year with physical Alpha Starter decks on hand for you to purchase in person and the Alpha Digital Game for players to battle it out online. We will also be giving out physical copies of the Tycho and Gabe Advent cards.

During the start of our kickstarter we came across a few bumps in the road that delayed our Alpha Build from going public. We wanted to ensure we were displaying a model of our game you would enjoy. Our team worked very hard to fix all of these issues and we now have the Alpha Build ready for public view. Over the next few months we will be announcing Alpha Access weekends and allow you to experience the game first hand.

To be included in the Alpha Access Weekends, please make your way to our website and sign up for BETA. We will be choosing our Alpha Access participants from that list.

Will next be in the PAX Diversity Lounge at PAX Prime, Alpha & Beta access in the coming months

I got to play this at PAX and the game is a lot of fun. If you've played Magic, this game will be fairly easy to learn. The tactical aspect adds a lot of depth which makes for more interesting games. If you like deckbuilding and trying out various strategies, I highly recommend the Tier 4 package. The felt mat is great and you'll be able to make a wide variety of decks. I ended up making 8 different decks so far with it.

For those who aren't aware, the Beta edition of the Kickstarter is up:

There's still 13 days left to reach funding and the goal is quite modest. There's also an online Alpha test going on if you'd like to try the game yourself before you decide if you want to pledge or not.

And whether you pledge or not, please consider passing the link around as there are a lot of us who believe in the game and would like to see it get funded this time around.
