Small group supposedly killed Mindflayer and Theda on Gilgamesh, no confirmation but times and claims were deemed valid.
Don't have information other than they were likely downed. Mindflayer is believed to be in the same window as other servers. Will add more information if possible.
Apparently Tonberry has 3 full LS's "working together" and setting a bunch of unwritten laws for the general population, as if hunting marks with 300 people is constructive. DO NOT WANT.Yeah, it's pretty crazy how mad some people get. Each time it's killed 'early' and each time there's a witch hunt. I mean, I understand you want a kill, but you can't expect everyone to wait for god knows how many people to arrive just so that you can whiff 1 time on the mob before it's dead. This stuff should be enjoyed a little bit more "casually" imo, yet all those Hunt LSs are going super hardcore and cutting wrist each time they lose a B kill.
Thankfully I haven't had a whole lot of playtime since the patch, and have got plenty of other shit to do before I start to care about this.
All these "Rules of the Hunt" reminds me of the shit some servers would do back in XI like /random to see who got claim on Fafhogg should the claiming party wipe. Bdesides, I don't think SE intended for people to hold hands and kumbafuckingya with half the server when a hunt NM is up. The only upside to these couple of days is that spawn timers/locations are at least getting ironed out so looking for NMs isn't left up to complete chance.
just got 5/20 on an S rank where i attacked for the entire 30+ seconds on mnk. full pt.
why?
Which S rank would be more useful information.
golem in south than. nyvumrarmararama or whatever it is
Apparently I'm now famous in hunt linkshells for that one time I didn't kick someone out of my party. GG Hyperion.
Or the fucking Beastmaster code, holy fuck spare me.All these "Rules of the Hunt" reminds me of the shit some servers would do back in XI like /random to see who got claim on Fafhogg should the claiming party wipe.
I'm curious if it's any better-received on JP servers.
People will find a way to fuck this shit up no matter what adjustments SE makes to it. Its not pessimism or anything: you guys all know its the truth. Try to have fun with your crew and get as much as you can from it, but fuck losing sleep and raising blood pressure over this mess.
People tends to wait on JP server for S mobs only, but no blacklist bullshit, we just wait until it's crowded enough like 20-30 people and engage.
My new LS (good one) has started enforcing if people leroy and the person who leroys can be traced back to being told by you, you get removed. Keeps it really nice. Starting to train patience.
The concept of LS's for hunts seemed nice enough, which is why I joined one immediately. I left it at the end of the day, though, as I barely make it to a mob in the same zone, let alone in a different one. Preferred keeping my chat clean, though there wasn't overly much going on anyway. If I stumble across a hunt-mob, I'll certainly use the opportunity, but I definitely won't be hunting them.
JP servers have shouts when something pop, LS reporting anything that pops but we dont really wait.
once the "founder" deem enough peeps for him to get enough hits in for full points for everyone that reached, he'll pull
other than that, if you missed it, its not anyone's fault. DONT CRY A FUCKING RIVER!
