It sounds like you have no idea what you're talking about, which is par the course for people who blindly scream "cheaters!"It's spread out mobs that die too fast with top tier rewards. Players can spend 8hrs and never see a mob. Or they can use a third party tool and get a sand in half the time.
It may be bad game design. but you just looking for an excuse to use 3rd party tools and justify it. Using 3rd party tools is your own choice and not allowed by the game, SE has known people are using this addon, but don't really care since its was just used for parsing and mob HP. What do you think SE is going to do when they realize people are using that same addon to cheat the system and give certain players an unfair advantage?
I posted a solution on the OF.
Gives the mobs a red fate like circle so everyone in the zone knows they are up.
(To make it more hunt like a player has to be in target range to trigger the hunt circle)
Give them x10 the HP
Have allied seals scale with participation. Need 20 people to max seals.
There you go no need for radars, good reason to wait for more people and the fights are more then a Zerg.
according to LS the fish is a Judgeray need 340+ Fishing Gathering
Its pretty funny that stupid people are resorting to it because anyone that isn't stupid knows that the way you monopolise the spawns is by people actually hunting and co-ordinating where they are searching.
We could have had 90% of A ranks on lock down and immediately sniped them, but we find them, get our members there, then announce it to shout/linkshells and wait for someone to pull.
I've found the QQ'ing in shouts to be hilarious
Personally, I can't realistically do hunts unless I go out and buy a SSD for my laptop. Unless I'm one of the early arrivers, the mob doesn't load for me (I'm guessing people with shit computers or on PS3 have the same issue). Zoning also takes 60+ seconds because of all the people near the telepoints once a mob pops so I'm never there early.
I guess I could just PLD and flash spam in the middle of the horde of people.
Killing B's right away is something that's understandable.. but killing A's as just a single party is major sadface, but there is the competitiveness of the hunt. It's not like actual hunters wait until the other hunters catch up and let them share credit, after all.
This is the exact same boat that I'm in. It's either go buy a SSD or just skip hunts all together. Tried doing hunts the first couple of days and I've got 3 seals and 2 less hunt ls. Got kicked out of one party since I was loading in and couldn't wake up the party that was fighting the mark in Mor Dhona. My poor load times never really affected me playing the game until these hunts.
Blacklisting people for killing a mark when you have a group there ready to go is on the same level as blacklisting people who turned in items for Dark Devices.
FYI I've been on the side of calling out where it is and calling out a time for us as a group to kill it so everyone can get credit and I'm at 2.5 sands as well, so I mean.
I'm just saying I *understand* the reasoning behind what people do. But hey.. blacklist folks all you want, you just won't have room for all the bots. :3
B's truly are a waste of time, though. 90% of groups don't even tell their LS's. They just kill it as a party, so I mean. if you've really been in a party that waits and calls out even B's..then you're a super nice bro. Calling out A's is fantastic, though, but sadly there's so many 'accidental' pulls, it just gets hard sometimes. /shrug
What does black listing a person even do? You can't hear them, but they can sure still read your chat. So it doesn't really stop anything
Why the fuck can I do like 5 hits and get only 1 seal on a B where someone else can do 1 hit and get full credit?
