I made a post earlier about how I spawned Brontes in Central Thanalan. I was just throwing times out there as that may have something to do with it. The rest of the post from the 2nd sentence on refers to the S rank in Central Shroud.

It's been over 24 hours since last Zona Spawn, caught 4 Glimmerscales, so it's either over 24 hours before it can respawn or there's a bigger zone catch counter than we thought.

Gilgamesh server seemingly has forced spawn. We've told friends on Fairy and believe it has been popped there too.

Central Shroud spawned on Faerie yesteday, although no idea how it spawned.

yep window is not 24 hr... its been36 hrs since last nandi here still nothing

Chocobo downed all Ss guess its a mini break time now... we'll monitor nandi(first one dead) to see actual time to window

We just spawned Garlok again on Ultros, 48 hour window for this one. Been there for all 3 spawns on Ultros.

Yeah it was about 44 hours, realized it wasnt as late as i thought.

What was it then? If it were the rain it would have spawned on my server as well since weather conditions are shared across them.

Not if the window for the spawn had just opened and your server killed it later than theirs.

You can bet arrow spamming happens nonstop, especially after a report of Garlok... can't really prove that was the cause tbh.

Edit: we're also trying to spawn nandi again with minions. as it's now within the same time window that Garlok was for respawn.

Garlok just spawned, no rain for the last 8ingame hours. Just people spamming Flaming Arrow after I asked them to do so. Not sure if coincidence or what.

Sorry to derail back to stuff from a few pages, but spent most of the weekend hunting and here are my opinions:

1) The Hunt Reward, Initial Release, Hype Train is in full effect. Which is the cause of 99% of the frustration because too many people are doing it to make it worthwhile
2) Generally the system is not bad, and I actually kind of enjoy the old-school TOD tracking then scouting certain zones. However, to be successful you need people who can communicate and focus on scouting. We had a couple of good parties (mostly pickups too), and got about 75% of the As that would pop (if not more).
3) While the Radar addon can help (and be frustrating) its not going to prevent finding As. I'm on PS3 (with SSD) and I've found my fair share of lone As that I was able to report and get my whole Party too before claiming.
4) Waiting for others is a mixed bag. At some point you have to pull. Otherwise you will have a mob that dies too quick for everyone to get an action in, or so many people the mob stops loading and disappears off your screen (this happens with most Ss unless I'm standing on top of them).

Still, a nice 2 sand weekend (where I had to be off the game a large amount of time too).

our past galok didnt immediately spawn after a heavy rain by the way. it spawned after 2 weather changes after the rain
