I take this as a warning, in that they temp banned the most egregious offenders. These are ppl they caught w/in less than a week. Guarantee they haven't gone through all the data yet so more are going to follow

Almost certainly just teleport hackers. Can't detect radar, so only a select few morons that repeatedly talked about it could possibly get banned for it, but I doubt that even happened.

That low of a number is certainly just the worst/stupidest offenders as you said. Just like the 24 announced people retarded enough to XYZ second coil when it first launched. They're just making a show of the people who lack any form of common sense.

I do find humor in the fact that people keep preaching bans incoming for those using radar, though. The things I have read on our little backwater server range from "an entire FC was permanently banned." to "SE is filing charges" against people using it. It's just like FFXI all over again.

I do wonder sometimes if something besides appradar is being used. When I find an A all by it's lonesome in the crack of nowhere, no one else around but me and sometimes spawned in front of me, I have to question the situation of a zerg of players teleporting in and beelining to the mark. Hasn't happened often doe.

There is no tool available that lets you scan a whole zone. With decent pathing, you can scan some odd nooks with Radar without actually entering them. Coerthas for example, you can hit a lot of nooks by riding close to the wall in the main area.

Semi-related: Has anyone seen an elite pop in the primary beastmen territory in Coerthas / Outer La Noscea / etc.? I haven't been doing this long, but I haven't seen one in a stronghold yet. OCD makes me check it anyways.

Just had Naul spawn in Natalan so yea...i am assuming you mean B-S mobs and not just S mobs of course lol...and on the note of that, still didn't get full credit for the kill yet went through 2 rotations on BLM Wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't an hour? repop...maybe 30 mins if its the weekly else its an hour would be much better imo

prettty sure the dahak S mob in outer la noscea popped in the mines before. alot of complains about how that huge dragon fit into the tunnels lol

if you spot the mob first and if your somehow solo, pull first and spam flash for credits while people come. you didnt do damage but you are getting credits. no one should yell at you

if you have a pt dont bother with it, chances are you only need to poke 1 time and can afk if all your party members are on time

if your late to a mob, lets say below 30% when u arrive, provoke and hold hate is your only last chance of savaging some decent credits

I am impressed with the change after trying it out. Just went to a B hunt someone posted in an LS chat. I managed to get a full BLM rotation off, double flare and then half a rotation (starting at 2k MP) before it died. I got full credit solo. I thought it was an A while fighting it due to how long it was alive. It wasn't super busy as in half the server but very noticeable difference.
