Popped Minhaco on Cactuar with a few friends (this server is SUPER lazy) and within 30 seconds, before most of my friends can get there, a random PLD pulls and people start gangbanging it. Manage to get hate and reset it at like 10% so the people I care about can get credit (because I didn't pop it so randoms could get mark logs and my LS mates could get fuck all, honestly) and you would not believe the rage that ensued.

Obviously anyone with a brain was very happy it got reset, but lots of "I'M GMing YOU FOR HARASSMENT TACTICS!" and shit. People sending me tells warning me of GMs investigating resetting and shit.

Honestly, I'm not exaggerating, it was unclaimed for less than 1 earth minute before someone facepulled it. If I get GMed for resetting it in that case than fuck it, worth it.

The nerd rage over hunts on my server is very real, too. Only during the day, though. During the night it's all sunshine and flowers. People wait, reset if needed, share info, and generally all have a good time. But once it hits about 9AM it all goes downhill.

Has there ever been an S rank that didn't pop on one server but pop'd on every other server around the same time..? Could it be that we're looking at global windows for all and not just some invisible requirements, but that the "hints" we're given by the scholar just telling us about the characteristics and nature of the monsters we're trying to find? 24-48hr seem like a healthy window to slap on S rank for respawns, and that every 10-15 minutes there is a chance for it to spawn in that time frame much like Tiamat in XI.

Yep. Dunno why I decided to try with the primetime crew. Well, I guess S-Ranks did, but at this rate, early morning with just B's and A's would be better since I"d guarantee 5/20 seals from those instead of 5 seals form S-Ranks that disappear. ._.

Zona Seeker pops < 1 minute after I catch glimmerscale. Found by some scrub. Such a clusterfuck I only get 30p on a mob I popped.

Done contributing anything to making S ranks happen on this server except on weekday mornings.
