Popped Minhaco on Cactuar with a few friends (this server is SUPER lazy) and within 30 seconds, before most of my friends can get there, a random PLD pulls and people start gangbanging it. Manage to get hate and reset it at like 10% so the people I care about can get credit (because I didn't pop it so randoms could get mark logs and my LS mates could get fuck all, honestly) and you would not believe the rage that ensued.

Obviously anyone with a brain was very happy it got reset, but lots of "I'M GMing YOU FOR HARASSMENT TACTICS!" and shit. People sending me tells warning me of GMs investigating resetting and shit.

Honestly, I'm not exaggerating, it was unclaimed for less than 1 earth minute before someone facepulled it. If I get GMed for resetting it in that case than fuck it, worth it.

I've been thinking about it, and while I know it'd not solve all the problems with the Hunt system, what I think they should do is just have it so that they spawn with Immunity to them for a few minutes, and other actions on them behave the same way that Provoke does during that time period.

1) It'd cut down on those issues of mobs being decimated within seconds of it spawning because one linkshell got to it first, despite 30 some people still halfway across the map on their way there.

2) It'd serve to counter those individuals that intentionally pull early just to troll, knowing that they'll get a lot of server hate as a result.

3) While I know that some people still would just because it's "not fair" for them not to get full credit, it'd help to potentially cut down on people bitching that "so and so pulled too early" or begging for resets, because then it can be argued that they had ample time to get there while it was unclaimed.

immunity would work. or have them start off with massive shields so people could actually attack and get credit while it was still being brought down. really it's the same thing as a mob effectively having more hp, though.

i was also kind of thinking that for S ranks, mobs should maybe have some sort of mini-boss or trash army spawn beforehand which could give some bonus seals (pre-boss bonus round). those early would have a chance to scramble and try to get the extra money falling out of the sky while others would have the opportunity to get there in time for the main event.

we are not looking for news, we are trying to find the EXACT pop condition.

it doesnt matter to us if it pop tbh but we want to lock down all pop conditions

granted, people posting here TOD doesnt really help anything....... and because it always pop first makes people dont give a shit on how he actually spawn anyway...

Thousand-Cast Theda, Diabolos, 12:12 AM PST. Spawned after catching the Judge Ray.

We also sent a lot of people to Middle La Noscea for Grade 3 soil and eventually C-M spawned. Bonnacon spawned after Leeks were gathered. Minhaocao spawned WHILE the FATE was up, but can't confirm how many rocks were in possession of people.

The rest I have no idea of who or how they spawned. There was one FC trying to take credit for some of the spawns.

Grade 3 Topsoil was mined by about 15+ ppl on Sarganatas yesterday. Croque literally spawned instantly after mining the node.

brontes popped, basically got 200+ people eating food on a 4am JPT.........

basically cant see the mob at all, those 200 people, none got 50point -_-

basically cant tell why he popped, but safat definately from 1HP spams (we had 5 PT doing it at once and it popped right after)

also both brontes we seen is at the rat camp.....anyone else got him popped elsewhere?

One time that I saw him, he spawned at 29,20(south of the Eastern Thanalan zoneline)
