the food/cooking/eating thing seem to be not it

too many servers trying it with masses of people and not able to pop it reliably

if things like soil/leek/fishes are obvious and this is not, it makes me believe its something else

OK. So, we popped Brontes on Gilgamesh again.

Since basically everybody on our server knows how, might as well post here.

We cook HQ marmot steaks (lv 5 from vendor mats) and run around the zone eating them afterwards.

Cook them (I do 99 HQ) in the Qiqirn Camp, change to bard for speed and run a path through all the spawn points eating consistently.

This last one literally spawned right behind me as I ate one. I only made it through 21 HQ steaks before it popped.

It was dust storms this time - not sure about the other times we did it, and don't think it has any correlation to weather.

popped and killed on Hyperion, can confirm was Marmot Steaks, our pt made about 300 of them and ran around eating them, popped right on one of our members as he ate one

I cooked in a party with 8 friendly CUL and ate. I gave 20 to someone else to eat who wasnt crafting and it spawned on me within 30 meals

Not sure. Everytime I've done it, I've cooked significantly more food than I've ended up eating to get it to pop. The flavor text clearly states he killed his keepers when they were eating in front of him. So it may just be chance to pop on food consumption.
